Hyoni Kang is a Korean fashion model. She won the 2008 Ford Models Supermodel of the World contest, the first East Asian to do so.

Her real name is Seunghyun Kang, and Hyoni was at first her nickname. After she won Ford competition, all Ford agency bookers liked her nickname, so she took "Hyoni" to be her model name.

She is good friend with Ford models Kendra Spears, Alexina Graham and Kate Somers.

She enjoyes Korean food, pasta and pizza.

Her hobby is taking pictures, specialy New York. New York is her favorite fashion capital.

She enjoyes pilates, green tea and cooking.

She has shot editorials for Interview, Korean Vogue (magazine), and Flaunt magazine, and appeared on the runways for Marc Jacobs, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Jason Wu.

She did Lacoste S/S 09 Campaign with photographer Terry Richardson.
