Meads Mill is based around a system of classrooms called "pods." There are 5 pods which each have their own grade base and rooms. They are labeled A-E. The A-pod has almost all of the 6th grade rooms, exceptions are science, and 3 computer labs. The rooms are numbered i.e. room A-1, A-2 etc. The B-Pod is mostly eighth grade. It contains one seventh grade and one sixth grade room. The library separates the two pods. The D-Pod includes the band room, the cafeteria, the shop and the gym. The C-Pod is mostly science rooms and 6th and 8th grade lockers. It also has a few elective classrooms like the Home-Economics and choir room. The E-Pod is the newest addition to the school. It is all 7th grade with a few rooms that are shared with academics for foreign language classes. The office is located at the center of the school across from "Bob the iguana" and the fish tank.
