Template:Future

Windows 8 is a version of Windows which is currently in development. It was announced in April 2009 when Windows 7 was still in development phase of the Release Candidate Escrow. Its features are still scarcely detailed in public, although job listings have mentioned improved functionality for file access in branch offices.
