- I need to start a discussion here TouLouse (talk) 07:22, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- I see. I will put it back. But a user like User:O Fenian will be cancel it. Hmm..I think uou must talk with him. It's a nationalist. Good Luck! TouLouse (talk) 08:54, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Hmm you're right!! Cheers! --The Maiden City (talk) 08:56, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Blocked
I've blocked you indefinitely. I am disappointed to learn that you were editing anonymously for weeks before my unblock, and only requested unblock on this account when the IP you were using was blocked. Furthermore you have not dropped the Derry/Londonderry naming issue as you promised to, and you are right back to edit warring / POV-pushing in related areas. I feel my choice to unblock you was a mistake, made without knowing all the facts, so I have revoked that decision. Mangojuice 11:54, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- I concur. I've been watching this user's contributions with concern, noticing that he appeared to be here only to try to use Misplaced Pages as a forum for fighting a political battle. Sigh... you know, before I joined Misplaced Pages, when I thought of Ireland, I thought of a small but beautiful country, the home of my ancestors, of ancient history and great literature... after a few years at Misplaced Pages, when I think of Ireland, I mainly think, "Ugh; that's where they spend their days viciously squabbling over words and calling each other names, isn't it?" I miss my old picture of Ireland. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:01, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
The Maiden City (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
You are incorrect Mango in your assertion. Firstly, I took the decision to request The Maiden City be unblocked because I wanted to regularize the situation and not simply use an IP address. Unfortunately, the IP was blocked unreasonably before I could have the unblock authorised for The Maiden City. If you look at the history you will see that I made several requests to have The Maiden City unblocked prior to the IP block being instigated. This was basically poor timing. All I ever wanted to do was to edit using my registered user name, The Maiden City.
Secondly, I never promised to avoid the Londonderry naming issue and would not do so. You are incorrect in this and the records will show it.
Thirdly, I am not using Misplaced Pages as a forum for political infighting. I simply wish the facts to be recorded correctly and as it stands there are many factual errors within the forum. There are a couple of individuals who constantly edit war on anyone making the simplest edit on anything connected with Ireland and the Irish, this is unacceptable and it is about time the Misplaced Pages Administrators stood up to them. I note comments by other users to the same effect. You only need to look at the comment by TouLouse above!
Decline reason:
See Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/Arbitration_enforcement#The_Maiden_City. Toddst1 (talk) 17:38, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
.
makes it sound like you would drop the issue, at least that's what I take "The Derry/Londonderry compromise may not be ideal but I accept it unreservedly" to mean. 24.99.242.63 (talk) 14:16, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Actually my friend, I did unreservedly accept the compromise, I did not say that I agreed with it. I agreed to abide with the consensus and edited accordingly but it is my right to have this reviewed and I intend to do so because it is a sham. This issue has nothing to do with my agreement, this is pure evil trying to drive me off the forum..but hey..no chance! --The Maiden City (talk) 17:57, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- For the benefit of any administrator reviewing this block, it is currently being rather obviously avoided as 87.115.136.194 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). O Fenian (talk) 17:08, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, that's a little disappointing. I agree that it is the same user, and have blocked it. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 17:17, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, it is wonderful what you get when you shake the trees...out fall the rotten apples! "All the one sows pigs"...as my dad used to say irrespective of what side of the sheugh they live on! --The Maiden City (talk) 17:35, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Conduct by O Fenian unacceptable
Further to my comments above concerning my unreasonable block which btw was instigated by O Fenian, I must refer to his conduct yet again today...]]. I have made several complaints about this individual but as yet no administrators other than Canterbury Tail have had the guts to do anything about him. --The Maiden City (talk) 13:44, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
I took a look, and it is safe to block Twobells, but O Fenian may warrant a block as well. Can't decide if it is edit warring, plain vandalism, or some combination of the two. I'm going to block Twobells for 24 hours, but invite others to review my decision and make changes as they see fit. Hiberniantears (talk) 13:35, 24 April 2009 (UTC)--The Maiden City (talk) 13:50, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
It is edit warring...pure and simple. You only have to look at his contributions ]--The Maiden City (talk) 14:17, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Fisher Queen brought to my attention the use of my comments from another page here (pasted above by The Maiden City). Without weighing in on any of the issues here, I should point out that my comments were meant to say that I thought Twobells was vandalizing and edit warring, while I thought O Fenian was edit warring. Generally speaking, it doesn't really look like either side is behaving terribly well in the articles concerned. Hiberniantears (talk) 17:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Why don't you have the moral conviction of your status and do something about him then. Are you afraid you might upset his puppet friends like BigDunc and FisherQueen --The Maiden City (talk) 17:42, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Bye bye BigDunc
Maybe you'll stop acting like O Fenian's lapdog now that you have removed me from your watchlist .--The Maiden City (talk) 23:53, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Further 3R Rule Breaks by O Fenian
When will some administrator have the guts to take this matter in hand instead of letting this individual carry on disrupting every article he fancies.
• yet another instance of the 3R rule break... "From what I've seen, both of you have violated the three-revert rule." Blanchardb
• and another... "Please refrain from removing any cited information from the page on Eoghan Quigg. Although you may not like the content, it is fact and you cannot let your personal like of an individual lead to the editing of their page to improve their image. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Misplaced Pages page, must include proper sources. Both passages you removed had sources cited so please check in the future before removing content. Thank you.!" Ngage77
and
"The information regarding the review of his album by Peter Robinson has a reference the the Guardian website where the article was published. This should not be removed as this page does not contain any other information regarding the recption of his debut album. Please refrain from allowing your personal feelings leading you to remove this passage, your point of view does not matter regarding his album. Feel free to cite any other publicated reviews of his album. Thank you.!"Ngage77

FisherQueen ...maybe you shouldn't be discriminating between editors....
It is quite obvious FisherQueen that you and other editors are guilty of gross discrimination on this forum. Instead of blocking a user who continually reverts and vandalizes other editors work as above you choose to pick on the novice editor to exercise your power. Are you not totally ashamed of yourself?
....and furthermore I intend to bring up this matter on the Administrators Noticeboard for all to see! --The Maiden City (talk) 18:34, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- If you feel I've acted wrongly, I am happy to hear the community's view. My objection is that you were placing comments signed by other users on this talk page, making it appear as though those people had commented here, when in fact, they had not commented here. When I removed them, I suggested that, instead of making it look like others had commented here, you merely created links to things you thought were important. I also reminded you that your block is based on your own editing, and that while you may not be the only editor behaving badly, you were blocked for your own actions and no one else's. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:23, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
BigDunc...why don't you get lost!
Stop reverting on my Talk Page.
It is up to me what colour I decide to make text on MY page, not you! I sure you must have more important things to do rather than TROLLING round annoying everyone. You are a sad case!
- Dry your eyes and stop whinging like a little girl because you were caught with your sock accounts. Car crash television is just so hard to resist. BigDunc 18:57, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Reblocked with talk page editing disabled
Since you don't seem interested in requesting any unblock, and instead you insist on forging the signatures of other users here after being requested several times not to, see : I have disabled your ability to edit your talk page. Now, if you want an unblock, go to WP:ARBCOM, select an email address of an arbitration committee member, and send them an email using an external email program. They will review your case. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 19:02, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
