Trial By Fire is a live album released by Yngwie J. Malmsteen in October 1989 in Leningrad, Russia. Three of the tracks are instrumental and many are strongly influenced by 1970s progressive rock and heavy metal, such as Deep Purple's Machine Head or ELP's Tarkus.
