History
Duchamp is a London-based luxury clothing company founded in 1989 by Mitchell Jacobs. Jacobs wanted to focus on quality men's accessories such as cufflinks but when his wife, Rion, joined the company in 1994, they began producing quality silk shirts, ties, scarves and other textile products. Duchamp have also been synonymous with iconic and fashionable enamel cufflinks. The company began selling its merchandise to larger retailers in the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, France, Italy and Germany. Duchamp is famous for some of its eccentric colored clothes; however, the company does produce sophisticated formal wear. In 1994, the company opened its first boutique in London's affluent Notting Hill neighbourhood. By this time, Marc Psarolis had joined the company as managing director. Psarolis focused on expanding the company and its product variety. In 2005, Mitchell and Rion sold the company to Psarolis. Duchamp has since expanded to five stores in London and one in Dubai.
