In the UK, the Chancellor of the Exchequer is the government minister responsible for financial matters. His/her duties include the presentation of the annual "Budget" to Parliament in the spring of each year.

The official residence of the Chancellor of the Exchequer is 11 Downing Street, London - next door to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
