Revision as of 22:16, 31 August 2010 by Spleodrach (talk | contribs) (→Election results: ce)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)Dublin County West was a parliamentary constituency in the Republic of Ireland which from 1977–1981 returned deputies to Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament or Oireachtas. It elected 3 deputies (Teachtaí Dála, commonly known in English as TDs) in the 1977 general election, the only election in the constituency.
Elections were held using the Single Transferable Vote method of proportional representation (PR–STV).
History
The constituency was created by the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1974, and abolished by the Electoral (Amendment) Act 1980. It was therefore used only for the 1977 general election to the 21st Dáil.
