The Amazing Race 18 (also known as The Amazing Race: All-Stars) is the eighteenth installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race. The Amazing Race 18 will feature several teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, from previous seasons in a race around the world with $1 million for the winning team. The show is hosted by Phil Keoghan.
Production
The Amazing Race 18 will be the first season of the United States series that will be broadcast in high-definition television. While most other prime-time television shows have transitioned to high definition, including other reality television shows, previous seasons of The Amazing Race have used standard-definition television due to the cost and fragility of high-definition recording equipment.
Teams from have been spotted at Oceanworld in Sydney, Australia, and at numerous other locations around the city of Sydney during Monday November 22, 2010. Teams at Sydney Town Hall were overheard speaking of allocated travel times to "the Outback" on Tuesday November 23.
