Welcome back
Hey Mike,
I wanted to be the first to welcome you back. I hope that you find some topics to revitalize, and always feel free to contact me if you need help with something (not that I'm much of an expert or anything, but I'm good for little tips here and there). Cheers. ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ ¢ 18:33, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks and please feel free to tell me to shut the f*** up if the occasion should so arise, sometimes more crap comes out of my mouth than my rear end and that takes away from my otherwise dashing personality.:)
- As James mentioned, and I completely concur, WP med articles are built on reviews and textbooks, and you're prone to use a lot of primary sources. Get to know WP:MEDRS and WP:OR backwards (particularly "Primary, secondary and tertiary sources" and "Synthesis of published material that advances a position").
- If someone challenges an edit, assume (a) you've misunderstood something, and ask for clarification (b) they've misunderstood something, and explain your position better (c) they're a bit dumb and you'll have to be very patient and careful in explaining stuff that would seem obvious to a normal person (d) they're an ignorant, arrogant, POV-pushing, trouble-maker and will require saintly patience, no irony, no sarcasm, an iron-clad grip on policy, more patience, and total politeness. .
- This is probably your last chance so, since I value you highly, I'd really appreciate it if you can manage the above and stick around. But I'm not going to be your advocate, in fact I'll be as quick as anyone to take this back to ANI if you can't do the above. Please stick around. --Anthonyhcole (talk) 03:57, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- I meant to add, please talk to me about anything you want to, at all, any time. By email or on talk. I probably won't be stalking you. I haven't started, and don't intend to. Keep me informed with how you're doing and draw my attention to anything you want. Have you started editing yet? --Anthonyhcole (talk) 13:52, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
