Apology
I would like to apologise for suggesting you were antisemetic , I had not been acquaninted with the policy on Misplaced Pages:No personal attacks, which is my shortcoming--naturally I should have known about it. There has been much vandalism on the article, and I have no excuse to attack you personally... all I can say is that I was very upset that day. There is enough antisemitism on Misplaced Pages as it is and I am sure you can appricate that some Jewish people can very easily become inflamed by comments that might seem mild. Happy holidays, - Abscissa 08:12, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- That is funny that we each thought the other was an anti-Semite... in a very not funny way! Misplaced Pages is almost a cess pool of racism, ignorance, and hatred... the history of virtually any article demonstrates my point. Thankfully, there are enough people out there to revert articles and revert the edits of these anonymous Jew-hating racists. I am torn beteween declaring this fortunate--or unfortunate, that not enough people realise how prevelant this problem presently is in the world today. In any event, chag semeach! Happy passover! -Abscissa 16:26, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
Admin Reserves
Would it be a good idea to have Wikipedians who are known to be "Wiki citizens" to be part of what I call "The Admin Reserves" ? This is to handle the back log on WP:AN, for instance. The Admins appoint long standing Wiki-citizens AS "reserve Admins"/"Acting Admins" to handle this sort of thing, until the backlog is taken care of. Good Idea ? Martial Law 20:22, 12 April 2006 (UTC) :)
- It's not a backlog on AN so much as just a lot of activity. Anyway, would you give these "Admin Reserves" admin rights - could they block, delete, etc? If so, then the community would want to put such people through RfA anyway, to establish that they are trusted enough to weild the tools. If not... if not, well, anybody's free to help out with requests and issues on AN, whether they are admins or not. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 20:39, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- They'd be Acting Admins", just like ordinary Admins, and if they remain good citizens, that could be a permanent rank from which to advance from, to where The Boss is at on Misplaced Pages. Martial Law 23:54, 12 April 2006 (UTC) :)

What do you mean "the wrong type of parrot??!!! "
Mine was lying down quite nicely. I mean, ya, yours is a Norwegian Blue and all but still... I think I'm going to start a revert war. Or something... ++Lar: t/c 22:04, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Lovely plumage, in any case. Somewhere we've got to have a GDFL image of a more restful looking parrot - yours didn't look all that sleepy to me! —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 22:06, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Torchic FAC
Thank you for voicing your objections at Torchic's FAC, as you may have noticed, Kirill has given a complete copyedit, which hopefully has improved the article at the "clause and sentence" level. If you have further objections or comments on the content of the article it would be beneficial for the article if you could add them to the nomination page. We Belong Together
Thank you for the edit. I've renominated the article once again for FA status, but at this point I have grown restless. I don't even like the song very much... oh well! I'll keep at it, are there any suggestions that you would like to point out? —Eternal Equinox | talk 15:44, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw the renomination, that's what drew my attention to it. Me, I've never heard the song, or if I have, I didn't know what I was listening to. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 16:22, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- That is one of the only mainstream songs I am surprised you have not heard (most of the other stuff on the radio these days is... yeah). It doesn't matter though. I did see the scatterplot graph, I'm just unsure if it should be included in the article. It looks... well... different. Do you suggest I give it a try? What if the opposers find this one even more appauling? —Eternal Equinox | talk 23:41, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Grapes, this may be picky, but would it be possible for you to change the colour of either the UK or New Zealand shape? Since both are close in hue (orange and pink), it looks a bit confusing. You don't have to; I'd appreciate it if you did. —Eternal Equinox | talk 23:49, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- But I'm not colour-blind. Orange and pink, remember? ;P
I'm just asking this so that others are not confused. —Eternal Equinox | talk 23:53, 17 April 2006 (UTC)- Oh, you'll have to excuse me. My apologies. Yes, it is better. —Eternal Equinox | talk 23:58, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Bishonen I won't comment on, because I know you're her friend. I just don't know why she insists that I have to be followed around since she believes I am the hands of HW. Strong Personal Attacks
Hello, since you are my expert on strong personal attacks ;-) I am hoping you can give me some guidance here. User:Conrad Devonshire has nominated list of shock sites for AFD after it survived an AFD vote with speedy keep one week ago. He also has the following information on his talk page:
- "I was born in Austin, Texas, USA on April 28, 1989."
- "I am in many ways what many (including many Christians) would term "ultraconservitive" (though I naturally believe that I am just conservative enough)."
- "Though I consider myself intelligent, I admit that I am not in a perfect state of mental health, and have a few mental issues which I for the most part, have under control."
- "I believe that today's society is corrupt for the most part and that people today are tools of society's corruption for the most part."
- "I consider the media to be to partially blame for the corruption of today's youth (though I also consider, their parents, their teachers, and THEMSELVES to play a part in it)."
- "I believe that so-called "feminism" has destroyed virtually any and all appeal that the female sex once had."
I would like to post this information as part of a comment in the AFD discussion, as I think it is relevant to why he keeps trying to remove the page as part of a personal crusade, but I just wanted to check with you that that this is kosher. - Abscissa 03:20, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- Since he is born in 1989 why is he talking about todays youth in the third person? Here is my unsolicited advice. Mention the user page and link to it rather than paste this information into the AfD. That way, people can read it for themsleves and it seems less antagonistic. David D. (Talk) 04:59, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- I am not a maths expert, but I am fairly sure this makes him 17. I am not quite sure what he means that feminism "has destroyed virtually any and all appeal the female sex once had." How he puts himself in the third person and concludes that the youth are corrupted, etc. -- don't ask me. Maybe we should put Socrates on trial again? Really, the reader can draw his own conclusions about these paranoid claims. However, what is known is that some "conservatives" like this represent an anti-Israel agenda, as suggested here... as to whether this person does or not, I cannot say. - Abscissa 06:01, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Thank you!
What a pretty girl, thank you so much! I hope you don't think me ungrateful if I generally use the small version that you see here in my sig. That's only because discretion and good taste are by way of being watchwords of mine. Wheeeeeeeeee, getting dizzy! Bishonen | talk 16:25, 19 April 2006 (UTC).
- Of course I realized your disciplined sense of taste would require a certain scaling down of the spectacular original. I'm sure it will bring you a certain comfort to know that, in a time of need, a larger dismembered rotating cartoon reptilian head is available. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 16:40, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Swatjester "looking for problems"
Would you be able to provide some diffs to back your statements, I really haven't seen anything but would be interested in seeing the reasons for your vote, its a pretty strong statement and I'd just like to know why -- Tawker 00:06, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, that's only fair, I suppose. I'll do my best to dig through my memories and the histories. Hang on. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 02:43, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Feb 3, 2006: - Asking User:Bishonen "Can I get you to help me with a mediation I'm conducting at Talk:Neuro-linguistic programming? I stepped in with an outside view and was immediately personally attacked. I need some administrator firepower watching my back while I do this. Also, since I'm planning on becoming an administrator once I have more experience on wikipedia, having one watch my first mediation attempt would be helpful knowledge for me." This is kind of what I mean by "looking for trouble": looking to mediate a very controversial page and shortly calling in potential allies with "firepower".
- I decided to be bold and attempt to help informally mediate something. I actually didn't know it was in arb-com at the time, and in my eyes the mediation actually proceeded fairly well through the point where the arbcom mentors took over and have sinced moved the process along much faster. If you'll notice, they had to resort to multiple blocks with the problem users. I, not having that option, did my best to maintain civility and policy on that page, and I don't think that I slipped there at all. I'm not sure how mediation is "relishing conflict".⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 04:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Feb 16, 2006: Taking issue with the idea that sometimes the best thing to do with a blocked user deleting talk page warnings is to let that page lie quiet for a while to allow the situation to cool down.
- And in that user's case, they did, in fact, proceed to make a second account, make the EXACT same edits they were blocked for, and was caught on RFCU by me. See User:Get-back-world-respect, and User:Nameme. The name was something like "Ineedaname" or something like that. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 04:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- February 23, 2006: and responds to (probably misplaced) criticism with an extremely hostile response. Politely asked to avoid personal attacks, Swatjester responds that they "Don't need to snap at me about it." (apologies and some strikeouts would follow, so that's good.)
- Indeed, I was uncivil, and crossed the line there. Avriette and I have had our misunderstandings, as I mentioned in question 3. Once I took a step back, I then apologized as noted. Avriette and I, since then, are (slowly) working together on RSTA, and have completely overcome any differenecs we had with each other. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 04:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- March 8, 2005:
- 01:59 Tells user:Postdlf, on his talk page that his behavior was "highly inappropriate." (I don't entirely disagree, FWIW, though the situation isn't clear-cut).
- 02:03 (four minutes later) Writes up the incident on AN/I in the form of what -- to me -- appear to be rhetorical questions.
- Android79 responds on AN/I: ":Here's a hint: next time you see an admin do something "inappropriate", use their talk page to sort things out first. If you don't get an adequate response, then bring it here."
- SwatJester responds that "I did bring this to his talk page first", ignoring the part about waiting for a response, and states "The only reason it is on this page is to get a clarification as to whether I'm correct as to the issue I'm bringing up on his talk page." If that was the only goal, it seems like Swatjester should have asked some admin he knew for clarification, rather than bringing the incident to the attention of world + dog.
- This one's pretty clear cut. I thought I was in the right. I "did" as mentioned bring it up also on his talk page, but since it was in my opinion a highly inappropriate action, I brought it up on AN/I as well for clarification. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 04:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Most recently, the tone of Swatjester's participation in Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Monicasdude and especially in edits like this one on Monicasdude's talk page (regarding the same conflict) give me pause. I get the feeling reading these pages that SwatJester relishes conflict. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 03:33, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not going to build a second front of the arbitration against Monicasdude, outside the arbitration page. I did not initiate the conflict with Monicasdude...Monicasdude did, and as my polite requests were denied, I proceeded to dispute resolution as any editor should do. That's not me looking for conflict, and based on the arbitration evidence I"m not the only one that feels this way. This is,however, the last I'll say about monicasdude outside the arbitration page. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 04:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
I do appreciate your concerns Bunchofgrapes, and if you have any more questions about my behavior, I'd be more than happy to address them. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 04:20, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Re- Removal of my entries to misleading foods list.
Sir, I wish to take issue with you on your removal of the several items I added to the misleading foods list. I added them in good faith because I felt that all the items I supplied, with maybe the exception of Eggplant, were misleading. If these items remain deleted from the list, then I will also take to removing various other items such as Elephant Ears, since that is just as bad as Chicken Nuggets...
I do not see what was wrong with Mars Bar (It does not come from Mars, therefore is misleading) in the same way Bounty Bar is misleading (extremely small, nowhere near a bounty.
Fish Fingers... Misleading - Fish do not have fingers.
Do you see what I am getting at???
I will not revert them for now, but a lot of those entries are just as silly as the ones I added. Would you not agree? Thor Malmjursson 13:15, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

I want to pitch in at Drury Lane and carry my weight, but real life work is a very deep set of weeds just now. I'll be shed of most of my obligations in about 3 weeks, and I'll definitely contribute what I am able at that point -- stuff you may have already gotten from John Rich (producer), Augustan drama, and Henry Carey (writer).
