radioactive waste contains very toxic material
Cost of Storing Radioactive Waste Through Staff
If we take some of the models of storing radioactive waste at 10,000, 100,000 or 1 million years.
I was just wondering if there was a security personnel and there wage were say from the year 2000 as a baseline say a salary $10,000 per year.
What would the salary be of that person doing that job in 10,000, 100,000 or 1 million years time be?
I believe it would take more than one person to maintain such a facility to hold radioactive waste.

Preventing waste
Just wondering about the part of the article that states the only way the stop radioactive waste is though stopping nuclear energy. Correct me if I'm wrong but what about: isotope production, particle accelerator components, NORMs, medical and industrial waste (from handling the isotopes), old nukes , research reactors won't they create radioactive waste? I mean wouldn't preventing waste thus mean giving up these as well? Information Updating
A lot of the information on this page is in need of serious updating/rewriting. Some of the statements under waste disposal refer to the USSR in the present tense. Blumin (talk) 21:10, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Figures lack units
