I deleted the majority of the article as it was taken directly from another website.
Bot made mistake with revision
The bot reverted an edit of a release date for the port of Half-Life Deathmatch. The original version said it was released 21 days ago, on May 2, 2006. I have been playing this game for quite a bit longer than 21 days. It is an undisputed fact that the game was released on November 30th, 2004. The article is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/Half-Life ; and the date is under the "Later Developments" heading.
I need your advice on my edits on Khatri article
I made some edits to the khatri article twice but they were reverted both times by Moderator3000. One was correcting a link to surname called Seth. The other was about Walias (which I linked) also being also called Ahluwalias.
Both these modifications are valid but they are being reverted both the times. I don't know if Moderator3000 is an official moderator of Misplaced Pages or is just doing what he seems fit.

Highway's RfA
Request for AdminshipThank you for supporting/objecting/tropicanising me in my request for Adminship. Although I wasn't promoted to admin status, with a final vote count of 14/27/12, I am very happy with the response I received from my fellow Wikipedians. I was pleasantly suprised at the support, and was touched by it. I will also work harder on preventing disputes and boosting my edit count (which is on the up), so thank you to all your objectors. Hopefully I will re-apply soon and try again for the mop. Thanks again, Highway
Thanks
Dear Tawker — Thank you for your support on my recent RfA. It succeeded with a final tally of 72/2/0 and I am now an administrator. I'll be taking things slowly at first and getting used to the new tools, but please let me know if there's any adminnery I can help you with in the future. —Whouk (talk) 04:55, 28 December 2024 (UTC)TawkerBot2
Do you have an IRC recent changes feed
We have RSS and atom feeds. I dunno what else you mean. We don't have IRC. http://www.biosector01.com/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&feed=rss That would be our RSS feed. I hope you can work with that. ~~U
Thank-you
I love TawkerBot2
Your bot TawkerBot2 is awsome! Thanks for making it. I love how it identifies bad phrases and insults. :)

- If the Oilers win, fine. At least they're not the Flames, which I'm very thankful for -- I wouldn't mind cheering for the Oilers in the Final if they make it (which I hope they don't). -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 06:09, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that.
Sorry about that. I think I know what happened. I must have been reverting edits to a page at the same time as Tawkerbot was and Tawkerbot got there first so VandalProof took me to Tawkerbot's talk page and I edited there without noticing until after. Beno1000 22:23, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Bad reverts on Princeton High School, Princeton, New Jersey
- Though your bot did a good job at first it then began reverting to the bad edits (with vandalism). If you could work on stuff like that that would be great. --RabidMonkeysEatGrass 00:18, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Collateral damage on 142.22.186.13
No problem, I just repeated the last block I saw on the block log, which, strangely enough, was done by you. I imagine you were in for a bit of a surprise the first time you blocked that IP. ;-) --Deathphoenix ʕ 16:47, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Disambiguation
As I don't have the faintest clue how to go about this, could you create a Disambiguation page to differentiate between Daniel Greene who is an artist and Daniel "Danny" Patrick Greene who was a mobster? Thanks for any help you can offer. IrishGuy 21:26, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Merci beaucoup!
Thank you, Tawker! Thank you for voting for my recent RfA, which passed (to my extreme surprise and shock) with a total tally of 66/15/2. For that, I would like to thank you and offer a helping hand in any admin-related tasks that may be required -- it's as simple as leaving a message on my talkpage. Thanks again! -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 22:16, 23 May 2006 (UTC) |
- "Hair pull"? Well, according to my first grade teacher, that's not a nice thing to do, but you can always try to prove him wrong. Not that I'm suggesting anything. :D -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 23:09, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Your Bot Rules!
I actually do not see as much of a need for RC patrolling as I did a few months back. That bot is impressive! Back to my relatively-new wikiproject. Best, Kukini 23:07, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

EWS23's RfA
Hello Andrew! I was honored to have your "strong support" at my request for adminship. I'm glad you think I know what I'm doing (hopefully I can show that through actions, now!). IRC hockey
I don't do IRC, sorry. I'm strictly an MSN guy, probably because I don't spend that much time chatting.
Weird game, huh? I dunno what happened there, but I think the only guys in that game who WEREN'T smoking anything funny were the Oilers. The officiating was crappy for both sides and very inconsistent. I mean, a parade of penalties and then nothing for most of the period? That was a joke, for the Ducks and the Oilers. -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 03:10, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
AF Redirect Vandal
It seems to me that it might be more desirable to replace all of those redirects with one of the welcome templates -- is AWB fast enough to do it within a minute of the vandalism? - Saaber 14:32, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Help
User:Rollosmokes has been bothering both me and User:Blueboy96 over the latter's edits to WTNH. I appreciate Blueboy's edits, but Rollosmokes keeps reverting them everytime I revert to Blueboy's version. It is clear to me that Rollosmokes is violating both WP:OWN and WP:STALK, especially the latter since he has reverted edits by Blueboy in the past. In addition, Rollosmokes has left rather rude comments in both my talk page and Blueboy's talk page over the matter: , , in my talk page he told me I acted like a little child. And here is a link to an edit he reverted: I need your help, he is going too far with this whole thing. CoolKatt number 99999 19:04, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

CorbinSimpson's Request for Adminship
Thanks for voting in my request for administrator rights, even though it failed (13/30/4). Sadly, work has forced me to respond to you all using a substituted message rather than a personalized response. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that administrators, to me, should be chosen and approved by the community, and I will continue working to become a better editor and Wikipedian. No matter what the alignment of your vote was, I will take your comments seriously and use them to improve myself. If you wish to discuss your comments personally with me, I would be more than glad to talk about things since the RfA is now over; just leave your concern on my talk page and we will sort things out. Thanks again for voting, and happy editing! - CorbinGboyega Salami

Different block times
Hi Tawker. This guy 68.100.101.128 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) was blocked by three different people for three different times. I believe unless we unblock and then reblock, then three hour time limit will be what happens, so we just need to decide on a length of time. As this is a first offense, I think 31 hours is enough, but I'm open to discussion on this point. :o) EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 19:15, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Show/Hide Sections
Hi Tawker. I noticed that you also use the show/hide frame on your user page. Can you tell me why the frame begins at "hide" on Don Mills Collegiate Institute (Under the Courses section) instead of "show" like your page? Apparently, you have to click twice in that article to show the contents instead of only once for your talk page. Thanks! G.He 00:57, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your recent vote on my RFA, regardless of how you voted. I appreciate all votes. I am going to wait until I have more edits in all namespaces. Dear Tawker — Thank you for your support on my recent RfA. It succeeded with a final tally of 46/2/3 so now I am an administrator. Re:Oilers
I don't usually jump on the "Canadian team" bandwagon because I believe that pretty much EVERY team is Canadian (because most NHLers are). However, as I don't the Sabres very much (stems from the '99 Finals), I'll be jumping on the Oilers bandwagon if Carolina doesn't make it. I like Carolina more than Edmonton. :) (Also, some riot in Edmonton last night, huh? They're trying to outdo our 1994 one. ;) ) -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 19:06, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

An idea for Tawkerbot2
Hi Tawker! I have an interesting idea for Tawkerbot2. I've noticed that sometimes it catches new users blanking articles that they created themselves. In such instances, would it be possible to program to bot to tag these as speedies instead? Some refinements would be needed...just an idea. --HappyCamper 19:46, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry to butt-in here, but I think Tawkerbot2 already has some of this functionality. One example of this that I saw was Duckbear. When the author blanked it, Tawkerbot2 automatically added {{db-author}}. I'm curious, Tawker, does it do this every single time an author blanks a page in which s/he was the sole contributor? EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 19:53, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Awesome! It already does it...the ones I'm thinking of are probably the more tricky cases where another Wikipedian beats the bot at adding a tag or such. Can we do something, say, if the article has less than 5 edits, and if all all edits are just tags or blanking, the bot will tag it as a speedy? --HappyCamper 19:54, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
The current criteria will db author if the only editor on a page blanks it, if any other editor kicks in it won't do it. For sure the latter criteria is possible, It's on the Tawkerbot2 revision 3 list :) -- Tawker 20:25, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yippee!! :-) --HappyCamper 20:26, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

WikiBot Details
Hello, Tawker. Thank you for posting information to help me on the Wiki-bot talk page. I just have a few additional questions I wish to ask you. Does a robot run on a Misplaced Pages server, or on a private computer? If so: How does one create a robot like you have? Do you know of any way to create a robot on the Windows XP platform?
