Thomas "Tom" Neuwirth (scene name Conchita Wurst) is an Austrian transvestite singer born 6 November 1988 in Gmunden.
Biography
In 2006 he took part in the third edition of the Austrian show Starmania. He got the second place (Nadine Beiler got the first place). One year later, in 2007, he founded the boyband Jetzt anders! that they stopped in the same year.
In 2011, he participated, as Conchita Wurst, in the ORF's show Die große Chance. He got the second place in the Austrian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
