I have a couple of questions for anyone who might notice them:
- Am I allowed to use my talk page to discuss matters related to my ban, civilly of course, or will that be used as justification to turn off my talk page privileges?
- May I request that all of the pages under my user space be deleted, except for my talk page which cannot be according to policy?

Participate in discussion?
It is not unheard of to unblock a user so that they may participate in a discussion about them. If you are willing to promise that you will only edit your own talk page and the thread Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard#User:GoRight_seeking_return_from_community_ban then I would be willing to unblock you for the duration of the discussion.
Unless a consensus to unblock you is reached by the end of the discussion the block will be reinstated. If you edit anywhere else for any reason at all your block will be re-instated.
How does this sound to you? Chillum 19:24, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
- It is a gracious offer under the circumstances. I understand that you are not supportive of my return but I appreciate your assistance none the less.
- My initial reaction is to decline as I prefer to stay off the notice board, but it occurs to me that this offers at least a minor opportunity for me to show that I can now be trusted ... at least for the short duration of the discussion. So fine, if you are willing please unblock me. I will stay within the bounds you have set out. --GoRight (talk) 22:53, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
You are wise to realize that how you choose to act on the noticeboard could help or hinder your case. I have unblocked you, please do not abuse this trust I am giving you. Chillum 00:03, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- I am reconsidering my request. Enric continues to misrepresent my statements from when I unified my login. I cannot respond without looking like I want to come and cause further disruption. I have never made a commitment to work on other wikis despite what Enric would have people believe. When I came here I explicitly stated that I had not edited elsewhere in the interim (meaning since my last appeal). Now he is trying to suggest that I have made some grand claim of working elsewhere which I never did. He is simultaneously claimng that the little that I did edit elsewhere is both meaningless and also damning evidence of how I am falsely claiming some grand achievements. It is very unfair to do so.
- There are a large number of criminal offenses for which serving 3 years with good behavior would be considered having paid one's debt to society. I guess that the same does not apply here. People are acting as though these past three years have never passed. This is a sad reality.
- I have attracted a couple of statements of support for which I am grateful, but there appear to be many who cannot move beyond the past. I honestly don't know what people are thinking I can possibly do to cause problems at this point. Any transgression or misbehavior will be immediately used to reinstate the ban and make it permanent. There really is no realistic way for me to cause problems.
- Please reblock my account and withdraw my request for an appeal. I don't wish to drag this out further. Many thanks to those who were willing to give me another opportunity. --GoRight (talk) 14:52, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- Both the reblock and the discussion closure have been done. NW (Talk) 22:54, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
