The 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be the 86th edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The game will be hosted by the Cincinnati Reds and played at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday, July 14. It will be televised nationally on Fox.
The host city was announced on January 21, 2013, by MLB Commissioner Bud Selig. This will be the first time the city of Cincinnati has hosted the All-Star Game since the 1988 Major League Baseball All-Star Game was played at Riverfront Stadium.
Pete Rose, who played 15 seasons for the Reds and was a part of the Big Red Machine, was banned permanently from the MLB for baseball betting. Bud Selig announced that Rose would not be prohibited from participating in All-Star Game ceremonies.
On May 12, 2015 the Reds announced that Todd Frazier would serve as the 2015 All-Star Game spokesperson.
