Valdés was born to José Manuel Valdés and Águeda Arribas and has two brothers, Ricardo and Álvaro. He is in a long-term relationship with Colombian supermodel, Yolanda Cardona. The couple have two sons, Dylan and Kai, and a daughter, Vera.
