The Future American Empire (known as the American Empire in the Hungry City Chronicles) is a fictional Empire consisting of the USA, Mexico and parts of the Middle East and Caribbean. It is mentioned often in the Hungry City Chronicles by Phillip Reeve. It comes to an end as it fights a nuclear war with Greater China.
