Touch Surgery is a London and New York City-based global health informatics and medical technology company that develops surgical educational material and instructional mobile apps. Through its free apps and publications, the company disseminates instructional information on surgical techniques and procedures to surgeons, physicians and patients globally. The company was founded in 2013.

Touch Surgery mobile app

The Touch Surgery mobile app, released in 2013, includes surgical instructions for over 40 surgical procedures in the fields of cardiac surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery and other surgical specialties. In 2013, the Touch Surgery app was awarded best new health app by Future plc's annual Challenge Cup.

As of July 2014, the Touch Surgery app is used by 180,000 users globally. In November 2014, Jean Nehme, M.D., the company's CEO and co-founder said that, in addition to surgeons and physicians, the company had found that the app was widely utilized by patients, who comprise forty percent of its downloads.
