Ways to improve Shubhadrangi
Hi, I'm Snowycats. Capankajsmilyo, thanks for creating Shubhadrangi!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hello there! Thanks for creating an article on Misplaced Pages. When you create articles, copying and pasting is not a good thing. Even though you referenced them, you can only source information from there and not copy and paste their content.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Snowycats (talk) 01:35, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Shubhadrangi
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Shubhadrangi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.ensyklopedia.com/subhadrangi-shubhadrangi-dharma-mother-of-king-ashoka-wife-of-bindusara-319-bc-295-bc. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Dr. P. C. Jain
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dr. P. C. Jain, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://indiatoday.intoday.in/educationsummit/p-c-jain.jsp.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 06:28, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- If you first copy a webpage and then edit the text you copied, your article is a derived work still covered by the original copyright. Misplaced Pages is unable to accept such submissions, so I had to delete two of your articles. Please familiarise yourself with our copyright policy before you create more articles, and do not copy from other websites again. —Kusma (t·c) 09:43, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Your submission at Articles for creation: Smilyo Educational Charitable Society (August 11)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Flat Out was: This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability—see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing, so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. What you can do: Add citations (see Misplaced Pages:Referencing for beginners) to secondary reliable sources that are entirely independent of the subject. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Smilyo Educational Charitable Society and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.

Your recent edits
Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. When you add content to talk pages and Misplaced Pages pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

Canvassing
Canvassing a large number of people when you have a conflict with another editor is against Misplaced Pages policy. By my count, you have spammed thirty accounts today with the following comment:
== Dandi Swami's Greek Version == What are your comments on ]? - Pankaj Jain 1:34 am, Today (UTC−7)
This is completely inappropriate. Ogress smash! 17:27, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Please elaborate on this. I am relatively new to wikipedia and not familiar with usertalk regulations. -- Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs) 17:29, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- You have 660 edits on Wikimedia and are apparently familiar with very intricate functions of its syntax, so you are no newcomer. In addition, I specifically linked an article above that outlines what canvassing is. Ogress smash! 17:34, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Please check the dates, I have been actively editing since few days only. Thanks for the reference, will keep it in mind. -- Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs) 17:37, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- And yet you are aware of intricate syntax and are creating Infoboxes and are pushing POV all over Misplaced Pages. I have done quite a bit of editing on Jainism articles; your approach of using a sledgehammer such as adding a Jainism template to Gautama Buddha is not helpful. Please, direct your welcome enthusiasm at finding reliable sources. WP:RS discusses them. We are seeking secondary, scholarly sources. Ogress smash! 17:42, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
August 2015
It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote—in order to influence Dandamis. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Misplaced Pages's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you. You have canvassed 30 users with a cut'n'pasted alert. Ogress smash! 17:31, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Capankajsmilyo
Hi there. It's clear I have gotten off on the wrong foot with you for various reasons.
I'd like to clear the air: I am not anti-Jain. I am also excited about new users. I have done a lot of work on Jain pages in the past: they were in truly appalling shape and I basically revamped all the pages on philosophy, the tirthankaras and many other topics. I did a lot of research and expanded the coverage of Jainism quite a bit.
It is important to me that Jain topics get the respect they deserve. In addition, the sad fact of the matter is that pages about the Indian religions get overrun by hagiography, bad scholarship, and religious zealots. What we need is solid, reliable sourcing by scholars. It is very important to Misplaced Pages and to Jainism that we don't just accept religious texts' statements as historical facts, but rather that we use scholarly works. This is both the cornerstone of Misplaced Pages and how Jainism articles become reliable and perhaps featured on our main page.
I hope that clarifies my reasons for responding firmly to your edits and the reason I challenged your sources. It's the backbone of the editing process at Misplaced Pages, not a personal attack or a bias against Jainism.
Additionally, you seem to have a rather deep knowledge of how to edit Misplaced Pages and my assumption is that you have experience with the Wikimedia system. I understand you are new to the English wikipedia and I am sorry if I stepped on your toes; I definitely misunderstood your level of interpersonal interaction based on your technical skill. Most new users don't start by building new Infoboxes and adding categories and the like. Ogress smash! 20:29, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- One further thing: if I had a strong reaction to you canvassing, let me clarify: that offense usually involves notifying about two or three editors. By my count, you summoned thirty editors to a page when we had an edit conflict. That is terrifying. That is an army of people you think will support your position. Ogress smash! 20:33, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- It's cool with me! I am sorry too, If my actions hampered your beliefs. The reason I could do that (what you stated) is because I am editing on Misplaced Pages for long hours since a week or so. Due to shorter timeframe (in terms of no. of days), I haven't yet encountered, in these 8-10 days, many wikipedians and hence not aware of much wikipedia policy. Creating infobox extra just need copy paste and a little tech knowledge about syntax. Having designed multiple websites I know how TECH works, not how Misplaced Pages works. It's nice that you moderate the content and I appreciate that. But, I would recommend you to first ping the one who did the editions before commenting on him. Also, having read few of the Jain Articles, I observed conflicting references are shown on the face of the article stating the conflicting nature. This is there especially in Svetambara and Digambara overlapping texts. Hence, I made some of those changes. I am not against greek or buddhist versions. They should stay on the page. I just saw that there's huge vacuum in terms of Jain versions and hence, they must also find its place. One of the techniques I observed is stating Jain Version or using the text like According to Jain Texts. So, Kalanos can remain unchanged, but I would suggest that the Jain Version should also be presented on the page as other version (if not in the main article)-- Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs) 20:44, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Further, regarding posting on talk pages, I was asking them to review the article as per their knowledge. It wasn't meant for anything like army or stuff. Getting more users to verify a piece is always good. If they know some more sources they could have cited otherwise ignored. This is how we work in group website projects or facebook or even discussion forums. However, I couldn't find any community like thing in wikipedia so resorted to that being unaware of Anti-Pinging Policy.-- Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs) 20:52, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Kalyan Muni
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Kalyan Muni. First, thank you for your contribution; Misplaced Pages relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Kalanos. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Misplaced Pages. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Kalanos – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Misplaced Pages looks forward to your future contributions. Ogress smash! 20:45, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi
Hi, I saw your post on my talk page. Thanks for your comments. Yes at one time I was very active on Misplaced Pages. However, now I rarely login in Misplaced Pages as I am not able to find time from my activities. Nice to see new users interested in Jainism in Misplaced Pages. This is a rare phenomenon. Nice to see that you are also a CA like me. If you require my help, do ping me.--Indian Chronicles (talk) 12:31, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
Sources, etc
Please read carefully WP:RS. You've been adding blogs and websites that don't meet our criteria for reliable sources. In addition, Misplaced Pages should not tell readers what is noteworthy. It also doesn't make sense to tell readers that Krishna was a prince for 300 years but lived about 126 years. Doug Weller (talk) 13:04, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link, will avoid adding blogs now. It was Neminatha who was prince for 300 years not Krishna. Neminatha's life was 1000 years. -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs) 13:09, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
- Ohh, so you were talking about krishna reference. I found it on Krishna and it is there for quite some time. So I thought that it would be correct. Please remove from there if you think that this reference is not good. Noteworthy point also noticed. Thanks for the suggestions -- Pankaj Jain Capankajsmilyo (talk · contribs) 17:26, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Vishuddhasagar
Hello Capankajsmilyo,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Vishuddhasagar for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 15:11, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
