Mortal Kombat: Devastation is the third installment in the movie franchise based on the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. This movie is still being filmed.

This movie was going to be filmed in Thailand, just like Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, but Universal Studios decided to build a huge studio/theme park, in which people would be able to see the filming in progress. But, since hurricane Katrina ruined those plans, they were delayed. And possibly looking for a new filming location. This film's status has been heavily altered by fans. Many rumors have circulated the internet that was not released by any officials of this film. The latest news about this film from officials was that the filming was delayed by hurricane Katrina, which was stated by Chris Casamassa. All other info afterwards have not been released by officials. It is possible that the film has started undergoing a new script.

There really is no confirmed cast. As to the officials have not released any new information on a confirmed cast list. However it is strongly rumored that Chris Casamassa is attached
