Welcome!

Hello, Albertogonper~enwiki, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like MNCARS, may not conform to some of Misplaced Pages's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

Speedy deletion of MNCARS

A tag has been placed on MNCARS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. ukexpat (talk) 18:15, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

November 2009

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ana Locking has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Misplaced Pages. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Misplaced Pages. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/v/9ksUr4nhPpY&hl=es&fs=1&/, http://www.youtube.com/v/AESF2r_QgUY&hl=es&fs=1&/, http://www.youtube.com/v/LXOmkCCliwU&hl=es&fs=1&/, http://www.youtube.com/v/C4BOylnS6QM&hl=es&fs=1&/, http://www.youtube.com/v/jcDJpwYTOE4&hl=es&fs=1&/, http://www.youtube.com/v/OkjEVjOv4SQ&hl=es&fs=1&/, http://www.youtube.com/v/tHlwy1uDE-U&hl=es&fs=1&/ (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Misplaced Pages's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Misplaced Pages's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:22, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Ana Locking. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — Racconish 12:02, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

Dear Racconish, I don´t know how I can talk with you. I don´t know why you delete all the content about Ana Locking. And I don´t know how can be resolved. I write all the references and links that you want in my last changes, please tell what can I do!!!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogonper (talkcontribs)

Simple: do not copy material from the website of Ana Locking and provide reliable sources. Thank you, — Racconish 12:28, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Dear Racconish, I have the permision of Ana Locking to paste the bio of Ana Locking from her website,if you want, give me your email and I send you the permision. And what is the not reliable sources? I paste all the links from the online sources like serious newspapers, magazines or state organizations. Please, tell me what can I do for you reactivate the page... Albertogonper 13:53, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Everything is explained at the top of the section. Is there something you don't understand?— Racconish 13:00, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Tha brand "Ana Locking" send an email to "permissions-en@wikimedia.org" giving me all permissions to reproduce part or all content that I want from Ana Locking website. So what is the next step... Albertogonper (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.37.18.100 (talk) 16:03, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

I have added {{OTRS pending}} to the talk page of the article, but be aware that PR copy is almost always inappropriate in tone for Misplaced Pages, even if released for use under the CC-By-SA. In the mean time, as this looks very much like promotion, could you please answer the question already asked below: do you have a conflict of interest with that company? Thank you, — Racconish 16:23, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

No, I don´t have any conflict of interest, I'm just a fan of the brand and I like to detail in wikipedia everything that makes the designer... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogonper (talkcontribs)

Thanks. Considering you own all copyrights to Ana Locking's Youtube channel and Alberto Gonper is the "brand Manager de la firma Ana Locking", I wonder if you are not too modest when describing yourself as "just a fan of the brand". Though I mentioned it already, you may still be unaware of WP's policy on COI. In particular, the following passage: "Editors who disguise their COIs are often exposed, creating a perception that they, and perhaps their employer, are trying to distort Misplaced Pages. When someone voluntarily discloses a conflict of interest, other editors should always assume the editor is trying to do the right thing." In view of this, wouldn't you like to reconsider your answer? Cheers, — Racconish 10:56, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

OK, I don´t understand anything, you have a complicated bureaucratic system to work... I only want to write a biography of the designer Ana Locking, it´s not an advertise, if any other person want to add any other information about her, can do it...I think this is the good way of wikipedia. If I have the copyright of the content is a problem for you, if I don´t have it too. I try to give you all the information, the brand send you an email givin to me the permisions to reproduce all the content of the website, I write the real links of the references of independents media, but if ALL is a problem for you, OK... delete all content... But in my country this is calling censorship. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogonper (talkcontribs)

There are 3 different issues at stake here.
  1. Avoiding copyright violation: as indicated on the edit page "All text that you did not write yourself, except brief excerpts, must be available under terms consistent with Misplaced Pages's Terms of Use before you submit it." If the copyright owner of the text authorizes its reproduction on Misplaced Pages, the problem will be resolved.
  2. Deleting the article: as you can see here, you are not the only contributor to the article and you cannot decide alone to delete it; moreover, the only reason for deleting it would be lack of notability, not your sole wish. As indicated -also- on the edit page, "If you do not want your writing to be edited, used, and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here."
  3. Dealing with conflict of interest: do you still want to be considered as "just a fan of the brand"?
Assuming (1) the copyright problem is resolved, (2) there are reliable sources and (3) the article is written in a neutral way (which may imply, should you have a conflict of interest, that you take into consideration the recommandations indicated below), there is no reason why the article cannot stay. On the other hand, If you want to request its deletion, you should make yourself familiar with our deletion policy. If something is still not clear, let me know .
Thank you, — Racconish 18:20, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

I don´t want to remove it, but I don´t know how can I resolve it. My english is not good, and there are too much somethings that you tell me that I don´t understand (but this is my problem). Point 1. It´s resolved with the email that Ana Locking send to wikipedia, no? so there aren´t any copyright issue, no? Point 2. I don´t want delete the article, I want the people can write about the designer Point 3. I don´t know what is the conflict in this case, and how I can resolve it. All the texts that I write in whole article have references of legal, true and reliable like El Pais Newspaper, Style.com (vogue website), Spain from Spain (independent fashion website), MUSAC (Museum of Modern Art of Leon, etc...) and the other texts are from Ana Locking website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogonper (talkcontribs)

You have still not answered my question. The Spanish Misplaced Pages policy on conflict of interest is here. — Racconish 20:22, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

I don´t received any payment for write this article in wikipedia, if thats what you mean. Anyway, the article is completely obejetive as you have seen. I´m not doing any brand advertising, only I'm writing an article about a designer with some significance in the european fashion world. Is not a promotional article, it´s only a informative article about the creative person of Ana Locking. As you can see, I write about her fashion shows (commercial work) or her exhibitions (artistic and personal work).— Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogomper (talkcontribs)

No, it is not what I meant. I think I was very clear and you have clearly declined to reconsider your self decription as "just a fan of the brand". — Racconish 21:57, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

I don´t do this article like a worker from Ana Locking, I do this like a fan of the artistic person of Ana Locking. As I said you, I don´t earn money for this... isn´t my work, I do this because I think a relevant spanish person like Ana Locking must have a wikipedia page, only this...— Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogonpar (talkcontribs)

OK. You said clearly you have no conflict of interest.— Racconish 22:26, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

OK, Thanks! And what is the next step? How can be restore the page to looks like past weeks?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertogonpar (talkcontribs)

Nothing to thank me about, I did not say you convinced me. Also, would you mind signing your posts? It is slightly irritating to continuously sign them for you. As for your question, look at the talk page of the article, it is clearly said an OTRS has to confirm receipt of the proper permission. — Racconish 22:39, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

COI

Hello Albertogonper. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Ana González (fashion designer), you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Misplaced Pages's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to you, your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Misplaced Pages article or website of your organization in other articles (see Misplaced Pages:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Your account will be renamed

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Albertogonper. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Albertogonper~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
