Yangshuo County (simplified Chinese: 阳朔县; traditional Chinese: 陽朔縣; pinyin: Yángshuò Xiàn) is a county under the jurisdiction of Guilin City, in the northeast of Guangxi Province, China. Its seat is located in Yangshuo Town. Surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River it is easily accessible by bus or by boat from nearby Guilin.

History

Pada 1980-an, kota ini menjadi populer dengan backpacker asing, dan pada akhir 1990-an, wisatawan yang dikemas mulai berdatangan dalam jumlah yang lebih banyak. Pada saat itu, wisatawan domestik hanya mewakili sebagian kecil, namun jumlah pengunjung manca negara dengan jumlah margin yang lebih sedikit pada tahun 2005. Saat ini, kota ini merupakan tujuan wisata bagi pelancong domestik dan mancanegara.

Sejarah West Street tanggal kembali ke lebih dari 1400 tahun yang lalu. Karena jalanan populer dengan penduduk lokal dan orang asing, tanda-tanda ditulis dalam bahasa Cina dan Inggris. Karena jumlah pengunjung asing yang relatif tinggi, banyak penduduk lokal berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris tidak seperti kota-kota di China.
