When he was fourteen years it old, he had travelled to America with current BTS performance director and main choreographer Sun Song-deuk to learn dance. He stayed in America for around a month where he learned how to b-boy and break dance. Young Jungkook had fallen in love with dance and was so impressed with Song-deuk dancing that he was determined to quit being a trainee and become his dance apprentice but his fellow BTS member Jimin had stopped him from doing so. It was also revealed that Jungkook had cried when he heard that J-Hope was going to leave BigHit during their YouTube Red Reality Series Burn The Stage.
