Template:Infobox musical artist 2 Rachael Maureen Lampa (born January 8, 1985) is an American christian singer-songwriter. She was discovered at a Christian seminar when she was 14 years old.

Early life

Rachael was born to a Filipino father and Irish/Hungarian mother in Ann Arbor, Michigan; she is the second of four children, with an older brother, a younger sister, and a younger brother. She has been singing since she was a toddler and learned to sing perfect harmony by the time she was 4.

Singing too loud at the dinner table got her sent to her room more than once. Rachael has performed at The Jenny Jones Show Young Talent Search at age 12 and finished 2nd place at the World Championship of Entertainment. She also performed many times at the Colorado Rockies baseball games.

Rachael was discovered at a music conference in Colorado at 14 by Word Records producers Brown Bannister and Brent Bourgeois. Her debut album, Live For You released a year later in 2000.
