Replisome Pro/Euk
There are some significant differences in replisome factors between prokaryotes and eukaryotes. What's the best way to make sure these differences are made clear?
This article is missing lots of major pieces:
- In addition to preventing the formation of hairpins, the combination of SSB/RPA + single strand serves as a better substrate for the polymerisation reaction that takes place inside DNA polymerase III.
- There is almost no discussion about clamp loader/clamp or pre-initiation / initiation complex.
- There is almost no discussion about how error correction works in DNA polymerase III.
- There is almost no discussion about processivity.

Is anyone interested in coming up with a realistic table of contents? I can contribute significant portions of the writing for the article, but I'd really like community involvement for the TOC. Thermodynamic (talk) 05:03, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Not Exact Copy
The Intro says the copy is exact, but this is not quite true, even with proofreading there's a finite (but very small) chance of a mistake in the copied strand (with of course huge consequences, like evolu tion.Paulhummerman (talk) 15:36, 27 October 2018 (UTC)
