Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is widely regarded as an incarnation of Lord Shiva and a re-incarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba. He resides in His Ashram called Prashanthi Nilayam at Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India.

He is known to cure many diseases and materialize rings, vibhoothi etc. with His spiritual powers. He preaches love and the unity of all religions. He proclaims that Love is His form and the only way man can emancipate himself is thru self-less loving.

He has revived the bhajan culture in Hinduism with His truly melodious compositions. He has a true golabal following with devotees from all over the world and Sai Samithis in every single country.

He runs a lot number of educational institutions and super-speciality hospitals on charity.

However, He faces various allegations from different sections of the society.
