Punjabi Sheikh and Pakistani sheikh or sheikh (Template:Lang-ur) are a branch of the Sheikhs in South Asia. The family name is popularly known for its merchant-focused businessmen and noblemen in South Asia. Sheikhs are to be descend from Arabs, or converts from upper hindu castes.
