Method to the Maddness is the seventh album by psychedelic soul group The Undisputed Truth.
Details
This was the group's first release on Whitfield Records and their most highest charting album since their debut. Founding member and male lead singer Joe Harris was joined by Taka Boom (sister of Chaka Khan), Tyrone "Lil Ty" Barkeley and Calvin "Dhaak" Stephenson.
As usual, Norman Whitfield handled most of the compositions and overall production and direction of the record. It includes their only ever entry into the UK Singles Chart in January 1977 (#43) with the disco single "You + Me = Love" from the album Method to the Madness. The song reached #48 on the American Billboard Hot 100, their second highest position ever on the chart. The Undisputed Truth nevertheless disbanded in the early 1980s following the collapse of Whitfield Records.
