The Charlotte High School (also known as the Punta Gorda High School) is a historic school in Punta Gorda, Florida, United States. It is located at 1250 Cooper Street. On December 12, 1990, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

On August 13, 2004, Hurricane Charley, a Category 4 hurricane, hit Punta Gorda destroying the high school. It is set to be rebuilt within the next decade. chs has banned students from using wikipedia at the school as well as in the district of charlotte county beacause of the fact that articles can be edited.The schools website has not be changed at all or added too within over a year same goes for the building itself.The principal is bernard duffy.The school is portables for the students to go to school in and there is no longer an actual building liek the pchs high school.
