SPI case overview
Hello, it looks like Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Cases/Overview hasn't been updated since 02:50, 16 October 2020, and the bot hasn't also edited since then either. Could you re-start the task? Thanks, Dreamy Jazz 10:55, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

- It's running again. For some reason I missed the pings, and I guess that's why bot operators should really maintain some level of activity on the site ... :/ Amalthea 09:40, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Minor fixes to userscripts
Hey Amalthea, it looks like you've got some user scripts in use by others that have bare javascript global wg-style variables. These are phab:T72470 deprecated, and while I don't think there's a timeline for their removal, it's been that way for a while. It's usually a straightforward fix, all uses need to use mw.config.get
, such as converting wgTitle
to mw.config.get('wgTitle')
. There's some more info at mw:ResourceLoader/Migration guide (users)#Global wg variables. I can take care of cleaning them up for you if you like, or give you a full list if you want to handle it, just let me know! ~ Amory (u • t • c) 11:56, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Crown office
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. This is a notice that Crown office, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a test page. (See section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
- It is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. (See section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
- It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Misplaced Pages has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Misplaced Pages:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
