March 2021

Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Catalogue of Life have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 03:29, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

ClueBotNG

Hello, Catchpoke. On User talk:ClueBot Commons, you mentioned you had a problem reporting a false positive Because the captcha just wouldn't work. I had this exact same issue, and have yet to receive a response about it on the page. Did you ever figure out a way past that? If you didn't, I'm probably gonna ask on Village pump. Thank you in advance. --DoDososeSe (talk) 21:32, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Village Pump Query

Hello, Catchpoke. I finally asked about this bug we faced in Village pump; I won't reiterate the response I received, but apparently ClueBot NG operators can see our reports. The link to the questions and answers so you can read it in full for yourself is at this url: https://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Issue_with_ClueBot_NG. Sorry I had to paste it like that but I couldn't figure out how to link the specific page or section here. Have a nice day! --DoDososeSe (talk) 22:34, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

Multiple publish changes

Hi. Just wondering if you could use the Show Preview button a bit more often when editing, please? See H:PREVIEW and in particular, "Publishing the same article several times in quick succession makes it harder for people to check what changed, and clogs up the page history." Not a big issue, but it would make things easier for those of us searching for subtle vandals who deliberately make a bad edit then follow it up with several small legitimate edits. Thanks, Meticulo (talk) 02:18, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
