Under the heading Smart drugs and designer drugs paragraph 2 "Some nootropics are also now beginning to be used to treat medical conditions such as Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease. They are also commonly used to regain brain function lost during aging." Should be verified and is lacking a source, despite making a claim about nootropic usage.

- I removed those sentences as unsourced by a WP:MEDRS review. Last year, the FTC and FDA warned companies manufacturing supposed nootropics for false claims of benefit in people with neurological diseases. --Zefr (talk) 05:33, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

A very usefull graph showing the potential for self harm or harm to others by David J Nutt should be added. I have made one and it's ready to use. Be aware that there is a english and a german version. For a preview you can check the german wiki page of drugs. SiXtreme (talk) 13:11, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- Not done for now: An actual link to the graph would be helpful. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:24, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

"Abuse of several psychoactive drugs can cause psychological or physical addiction."
Should be changed to "Abuse of several psychoactive drugs can cause addiction and/or physical dependence". " "Physical dependence" should link to the page "drug dependence" and "addiction" should have its own link. D7L5 (talk) 04:40, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
- Done. ◢ Ganbaruby! (talk) 15:13, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
