What I have learned in my first few months at Misplaced Pages

Misplaced Pages and it's editors and administrators are not interested in creating something useful or promoting knowlege. For them Misplaced Pages is no different from Myspace but instead of collecting friends, the object is to collect edits. The more edits you do, the more likely you are to be nominated for Adminstrator where you will have even more power. The easiest way to collect edits is to find new articles that are flawed and nominate them for deletion. Do not waste time improving an article. Just nominate it for deletion and move on. Having your signature appear once in 1000 articles is more valuable than having your signature in one article 1000 times. I repeat, do not waste time improving a developing article or providing constructive criticism. Nobody is here to teach or learn.--Sand Squid 14:03, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
