Punjabi Shaikh and Pakistani sheikh or shaikh (Template:Lang-ur) are a branch of the Shaikhs in South Asia. Punjabi Shaikhs are the descendent of Indo Aryans and possible ancient pre-islamic Arab tribes.Punjabi Sheikh consists of hundreds of tribes who descended from ancient Europe,Middle East and Africa. Historical two tribes "Sandal, Sethi" within punjabi Sheikh's have decended from the royal tribes of Scotland, Germany, Middle East, Africa and Denmark. Sheikh surname came from the ancient era when all tribes merged under one banner"Sheikh"to become united and to create a realm of civilized world order.
