Your Abusive Message to Me

Hi, Sorry to bother you. I have just had an article deleted without explanation. The article is Bowden. Scottish Borders. RHaworth deleted the page saying I should take more care (???) and did I not wonder why "Newtown St. Boswalls@ went 'red,. Can you help me and give me some guidance? Babri Masjid Article

Thank you for reverting vandalism in this article. I wrote the architectural section of the article which I found vandalised. My article had been there for four years withouth chage and had stood the test of time. Please keep an eye on this work. I have restored it to the point 22:43, 26 November 2009 79.77.139.65 which are the last of my three edits. I have also put back a photograph of the Mosque. I do not get involved in the politics of the dispute but as a architect I am only intrested in architecture of monuments. I would be very grateful if you can keep an eye on my article and revert to 22:43, 26 November 2009 79.77.139.65 which is the original for comparison. I originally wrote the article (architectural section) in 2007 and it keeps getting vandalised only in the past four days. Operation Mincemeat

Just curious why you regarded my comment re the error made by Tom Clancy in Red Rabbit "appears to be unconstructive". It was certainly not a criticism of Tom Clancy as he is normally very good at his details. I am not angry, or anything just curious as I thought it was a part of popular culture. I had to go to the original Operation Mincemeat page to prove it was not Corsica as friend believed the Red Rabbit version. Cheers klowndave Klowndave (talk) 00:43, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

please put e-volo on the timeline of aviation history

Dear SpaceFlight89,

can you please put e-volo on the timeline of aviation history.

On the 21st October 2011: The first manned flight world-wide with a purely electrically powered, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft succeeded. The invention of the volocopter has been celebrated globally as pioneer work in aviation. In this moment, we construct the VC200, the first Volocopter to carry two people. This aircraft convinced the supreme authority for aviation in Germany to such an extent that it has commissioned the creation of a new national category in aviation.

The e-volo Corporation (GmbH): Development, marketing and sales of the volocopter. Stephan Wolf (CEO) got to know Thomas Senkel (CTO) in an internet forum in a discussion on quadrocopters. Thomas Senkel specializes in the development of electric drives and the construction of ultra light vehicles. Alexander Zosel (CEO), a visionary entrepreneur and inventor, was sold on the idea of rescaling the model to the size of a manned aircraft too.

As the federal ministry of economics and technology granted 2 million € as a subsidy of the project-related costs, e-volo is working together with a research and industry syndicate to build the VC200, the first Volocopter in the world to carry two people.

The Volocopter is an absolutely novel aircraft which cannot be assigned to any existing aviation category.

The greatest challenge after technical realisation is to be able to place such an aircraft on the market. As the Volocopter is the first of its kind, an official basis needs to be created in the first step to allow for air traffic participation.

The innovative concept of an electrical vertical take-off aircraft convinced the supreme authority for aviation in Germany, the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) to such an extent that it has commissioned a two to three year trial programme for the creation of a new category in aviation.

The relevant organizations, namely the German Ultralight Aircraft Association (DULV), the German Sports Aircraft Association (DAeC) and the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA) will work together with the project team of e-volo on the creation of a new manufacturing specification for the Volocopter, including legal regulations (where and when the Volocopter has permission to fly), and the training specifications for future pilots of the Volocopter.

In the course of the trial programme, the Volocopter will be granted a provisional airworthiness certificate after having undergone extensive endurance testing of the passenger cabin, the landing framework and the rotor array. The goal is to achieve this by mid 2013 in order to be able to begin with test flights for the trial programme as soon as possible. The test flights will take place on the glider airfield in Bruchsal, where the factory of the DG Flugzeugbau (DG Aircraft Construction) is located. DG Aircraft Construction handles the production of the mechanical bodywork of the VC200 in the carbon lightweight mode of construction.

At the end of the trial programme, a prototype certification of the VC200 in line with the newly created category of ultralight rotor aircraft named Volocopter will enable the future serial production.

Consequently, in Germany people with a private pilot licence will be able to fly e-volo’s Volocopter in the near future.

Background: regarding ultralight aircraft

In Europe, ultralight aircraft are defined as very lightweight motor-powered aircraft carrying up to two people. Internationally, there are several ultralight aircraft categories with country-specific certification regulations.

In order to fly ultralight aircraft in Germany, a private pilot license is required. This licence varies depending on the different categories. According to national law, the various different categories of aerial sports equipment are put under the umbrella definition of ultralight aircraft. The maximum takeoff mass of ultralight two-seater aircraft may not exceed 450 kg in Europe.

E-volo is the winner of the 2012 Lindbergh Prize for Innovation

Erik Lindbergh, grandson of Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh, announced the 2012 winner of the Lindbergh Prize. The Lindbergh Foundation’s aviation prizes are designed to recognize and stimulate innovation, and promote meaningful advancements in green aviation.

“We believe that the development of the Volocopter holds significant promise to radically change short distance transportation,” said Erik Lindbergh. “It has a long development path ahead, but if this innovative design reaches the commercial market it will dramatically change the way we move about the planet.”

Fröhlichen Gruß,

Alexander Zosel

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,

Hello! I have a question regarding a message you sent!

Hello! You sent me this message supposedly:

[User talk:71.215.11.38 Jump to navigation Jump to search September 2009 Information.png "Welcome to Misplaced Pages. One or more of the external links you added in this edit to the page Stretch marks do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Misplaced Pages is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you" —SpaceFlight89 17:05, 1 September 2009 (UTC)]

I am extremely confused. The message was supposedly sent In 2009- which is a time I had never even heard of Misplaced Pages. If fact, I was 4! Therefore this must have been an error because now, October 26, 2019, nearly 2020 I am sure I hadn't sent that message let alone look at an article of stretch marks? in 2009. That was 10 years ago! Might have been an error in the messaging but I assure you, I was not looking at an article about stretch marks when I was 4... Anyways that is interesting! Apologies but I'd just like to say that because I was confused when I checked my 'new message'! Have a great night or whatever time it is for you!
