- Hi, you played a role in my "Keep" - Ret.Prof (talk) 14:15, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- Oh cool. I see that it kinda does go against some rules but im hoping we could keep it and maybe revamp it. Im kinda going along with the idea of 'WP:Ignore all rules'. I really think it could be a good addition if done right. --NikkeKatski (talk) 13:29, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
- Agreed. - Ret.Prof (talk) 13:02, 29 April 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom: Disputes at SNC-Lavalin affair
I thought you may want to know that Curly Turkey has started an ArbCom request here an extension of the ANI. I will comment there when I have time, but I wanted to make sure you are aware as Curly has not notified all parties.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 02:16, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the notification. - Ret.Prof (talk) 15:45, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
To resume normal editing
I have carefully reviewed Misplaced Pages policy. Now that I am resuming normal editing, would it be advisable to appeal a wrongful three month topic ban from April 2015? I believe it was an improper way to win a content dispute because solid diffs were never provided to support any the accusations brought against me. - Ret.Prof (talk) 15:42, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
- I mean, its been years and you say the ban was three months.. is it relevant anymore? Then again I guess I would try to clear my own name if it was me. I have seen situations where past judgement sometimes influences future decisions against you. --NikkeKatski (talk) 17:14, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
- True... I am presently reviewing WP guide to appealing blocks & bans. Thanks. - Ret.Prof (talk) 14:40, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
Thanks
Thank you very much. I appreciate the support. I'm not furious at El_C or anything like that, just slightly annoyed. Oh well, it happens.—Chowbok ☠ 16:05, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

- Ret.Prof, at least you supported twice - I'd have been gutted if you'd opposed twice! GirthSummit (blether) 13:56, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add |
