Darul Huda Islamic University (DHIU) is a private Islamic university in the district of Malappuram. DHIU was founded in 1986, as an Islamic Academy and rebranded in 2009, to become a private Islamic University with International recognition.
History
The organization was registered under the Societies Registration Act (165/1989) in 1986 as a Non-governmental organization and the University is established in 2009. Currently, it has affiliated colleges all across Kerala and other states in India including Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka and Assam. Darul Huda Islamic University has produced hundreds of proficient Islamic scholars who aim at empowering the community along with the modern sciences.
