Darul Huda Islamic University is an Private Islamic University in the district of Malappuram. DHIU was founded in 1986, first as an Islamic Academy and it was later upgraded to a private Islamic University status with International recognition in 2009.
History
The organization was registered under the Societies Registration Act (165/1989) in 1986 as a Non-governmental organization and the University is established in 2009. Currently, it has affiliated colleges all across Kerala and other states in India including Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka and Assam. Darul Huda Islamic University has produced hundreds of proficient Islamic scholars who aims at empowering the community along with the modern sciences.
