Behringer is a German company, founded in its present form in 1989, that manufactures and sells musical equipment (such as mixing consoles, microphones and musical instruments). The company makes use of modern business practices and outsources manufacturing to China. It has managed to be a major player in the low cost segment of such equipment.

Beheringer have also been accused of copying other manufacturers' designs, resulting in corporate lawsuits from Alesis and Mackie.
