The following is a list of characters from Mixels, a cartoon series by Cartoon Network; the list features many different, fun-loving tribes from the series who all have a different colour scheme. Its complexion is to Mix (when combining two Mixels), Max (when combining all three Mixels of their tribe) and Murp (when failing a Mix).

Mixels

Series 1

Infernites

Based on fire, the Infernites are the primary tribe of Series 1. They live in the Magma Wastelands, a place near the centre of Mixel Land. When all three combine they become a bipedal, dragon-esque creature with fire breath. Their cubits are red, and their leader is Flain.

  • Flain (voiced by Tom Kenny) − Flain is the adventurous and smart leader of the Infernites, whose brain can catch on fire if he thinks too hard. When combined with Seismo he can create lava rock by stomping his feet, and when combined with Krader he makes a Murp, belonging to the episodes "Murp" and "Snow Half-Pipe"; in the episode "Rockball", he doesn't make a Murp with him. He is the mascot of Series 1 and one of the first-shown Mixels. He resembles a penguin.
  • Vulk (voiced by Jess Harnell) – Vulk is a strong and dimwitted Infernite whose hands are hot. When combined with Zaptor he can wipe out Mixel Land by creating fire electricity from his head. His ears were originally intended to be red.
  • Zorch (voiced by David P. Smith) – Zorch is a fast Infernite who shoots fiery jets from his rear. He is also a prankster. He serves as the mailman of the Mixels. When combined with Seismo he gives Seismo the ability to fly.

Cragsters

Based on rock, the Cragsters are the secondary tribe of Series 1. They live in the Mine, tunnels that are found deep under the surface of Mixel Land. When all three combine they become a giant humanoid rock golem that can turn into a boulder that can roll at enemies. Their cubits are grey, and their leader is Krader.

  • Krader (voiced by David P. Smith) – Krader is a tough and no-nonsense Cragster with a large hand. When combined with Flain he makes a Murp, belonging to the episodes "Murp" and "Snow Half-Pipe"; in the episode "Rockball", he doesn't make a Murp with him. The Cragsters Max resembles him; this is perhaps due to its voice and appearance.
  • Seismo (voiced by Tom Kenny) – Seismo is a shy and nervous Cragster who uses his large feet to cause tremors and seismic abilities. When combined with Zorch he can fly, but he does this out of control. He originated as Shuff, and is one of the first-shown Mixels. He resembles a minotaur.
  • Shuff (voiced by Jess Harnell) – Shuff is a clumsy, timid and overly nice Cragster who has been described as a "living wrecking ball". When combined with Zorch he can create lava rock from his mouth. He originated as Seismo, with the crystal originally being different.

Electroids

Based on electricity, the Electroids are the tertiary tribe of Series 1. They live in the Mountain City, where they stay as close as possible to the lightning storms that often energise them. When all three combine they become a bipedal, lion-esque creature that can shoot electricity from its tail. Their cubits are yellow, and their leader is Teslo.

  • Teslo (voiced by Tom Kenny) – Teslo is a daring and ingenious Electroid with great climbing; however, he is scared of heights. He resembles a lizard, with his voice sounding like one.
  • Zaptor (voiced by Jess Harnell) – Zaptor is a highly-charged Electroid, whose body is like a lightning rod. When combined with Seismo he can create electrorock from his head.
  • Volectro (voiced by David P. Smith) – Volectro is a jokester Electroid who emits static electricity from his body. He is one of the first-shown Mixels.

Series 2

Frosticons

Based on ice, the Frosticons are the secondary tribe of Series 2. They live in the Frozen Volcanoes, crystallised shells of extinct volcanoes. When all three combine they become a giant humanoid ice monster with frozen breath. Their cubits are blue. Their leader is Flurr.

  • Flurr (voiced by Phil LaMarr) – Flurr is the naturally curious leader of the Frosticons. When combined with Gobba he imitates everybody. When combined with Kraw, he grants him the ability to fly. He resembles a dragon, sometimes a bird, in 2014, 2015 and other years when seen. He is good at spotting Nixel invasions far away, but sometimes misses other things. His name is often misspelled as "Flur".
  • Slumbo (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) – Slumbo is a sleepy Frosticon. It takes an earthquake to wake him up. His body is incredibly durable, but his hands are good at carrying things. He resembles a frog.
  • Lunk (voiced by Billy West) – Lunk is the slowest Frosticon, whose exoskeleton is highly durable. He doesn't have allergies but often sneezes. When combined with Jawg he makes a Murp. When combined with Balk he gives Balk the ability to slingshot himself. Like Slumbo, his body is incredibly durable, but the hands are good at carrying things due to his appearance that helps him. Lunk typically sneezes to freeze Nixels in ice cubes. He resembles a dinosaur.

Fang Gang

Based on eating and wood, the Fang Gang are the primary tribe of Series 2. They live in the Farmlands. When all three combine they become a giant, bipedal, beaver-esque creature that can chomp into anything. Their cubits are brown, and their leader is Jawg; in The Biggest and Most Epic Mixels Minisode Ever (or Epic Comedy Adventure), Gobba is mistaken as their leader.

  • Jawg (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) – Jawg is a fiercely loyal Fang Gang member who gladly uses his indestructible teeth for protection. When combined with Lunk he makes a Murp. The Mixels are aware of him; he does everything to protect the other Fang Gang members. He resembles a dog.
  • Gobba (voiced by Billy West) – Gobba is a bite-loving Fang Gang member who can use his accurately sensitive (for his sense of taste), whiplike tongue to seek out food on the Farmlands. When combined with Tentro he can do backflips. Several Mixels think that Gobba is their favourite Mixel because of his amazing, sensitive tongue. If the Mixels see that feelings are being tasted, that is what they think that Gobba can do. The Fang Gang Max resembles him due to its appearance. He was originally called "Chippo", and resembles a beaver.
  • Chomly (voiced by Phil LaMarr) – Chomly is a lazy, trash-compacting Fang Gang member who eats anything he wants. He loves high fives (as shown in the episode, "High Five"). His eating skills make him have a tooth which makes him have a golden-gleaming smile. Because he is close-talking, he has bad breath. Because the Mixels wouldn't want to be stuck next to him while he is eating, repelling Nixels is very handy to him. He has a low-pitched voice in the episode "Elevator" and his "Upset" video in the Calling All Mixels mobile game. He resembles a warthog.

Flexers

Based on rubber, the Flexers are the tertiary tribe of Series 2. They live in the Sproingy Lands (also known as the Rubberlands, in line with what they are based on). When all three combine they become a squid-esque creature that can jump to attack enemies. Their cubits are orange, and their leader is Kraw.

  • Kraw (voiced by Fred Tatasciore in Season 1; uncredited) – Kraw is a confident Flexer who always claims to be the smartest Mixel. When combined with Flurr he can fly. He likes to answer questions from the Mixels and his main strength is to be a rubber ball to attack Nixels. Mascot of Series 2. He was originally called "Bouncer", and resembles a crawfish or crab.
  • Tentro (voiced by Phil LaMarr) – Tentro is an elastic Flexer who lacks confidence. His tentacles are flexible and powerful. Tentro may ask questions which Kraw answers and can stretch when he exercises. He is very shy, but knows how to have fun with other Mixels; afterwards, he can grow enthusiastic and happy. He was originally called "Flexi" in early packages, and resembles a squid.
  • Balk (voiced by Billy West) – Balk is a slow Flexer whose head can be used as a mallet. When combined with Lunk he can slingshot himself. The Mixels often see Balk in the Sproingy Lands when he is head-butting due to his brain-cell bashing. The Flexers Max resembles him due to its elastic head's appearance (except it looks like a squid and does no head-butting). He was originally shorter and stockier in early packages, and resembles a hammerhead shark.

Series 3

Glorp Corp

Based on slime, the Glorp Corp are the primary tribe of Series 3. They live in the Swamplands, are described as swamp-dwelling thrill-seekers and listen to bluesy music (as shown in Calling All Mixels). When all three combine they become a slime monster that can roll itself to defeat enemies. Their cubits are green, and their leader is Glomp.

  • Glomp (voiced by Maddie Taylor) – Glomp is the leader of the Glorp Corp who often hatches weird schemes. He serves as the member with a runny nose. He is the official voice of the Glorp Corp Max in the Mixels stop-motions; along with Glurt he realises that Footi was going to stop the Nixels. Glomp shouldn't be found too close due to his runny nose.
  • Glurt (voiced by Bumper Robinson) – Glurt is a slobbering Glorp Corp member who cleans up after the Glorp Corp; he has been described as an "avid garbage collector". When combined with Scorpi he makes a Murp, belonging to the episode "Murp Romp". The leader of the Glorp Corp, Glomp, appeared with him when playing Fetch the Cubit. Glurt slobbers with delight when he sees someone. He is eager to greet the Mixels; however, he sometimes does this with too much emotion when he runs; similarly, Scorpi usually screams and scrambles out of here. He uses his tail as a pogo stick and resembles a dog; he presumably resembles the hound.
  • Torts (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) – Torts is a slow-moving Glorp Corp member whose hands are gooey. Everything sticks to him. When combined with Scorpi he can walk on all fours. Torts is sometimes good for catching Nixels and his hands help him catch the Nixels due to how he shoots gloopy slime from his hands. The Glorp Corp Max resembles him due to its slimy, gloopy appearance. His name comes from the word "tortoise", which he resembles.

Spikels

Based on spikes, the Spikels are the tertiary tribe of Series 3. They live in the Spiky Desert (which is feminine-like, as shown in Calling All Mixels). When all three combine they become a bipedal, dinosaur-esque creature that can attack enemies by swiping them. Their cubits are tan. Their leader is Scorpi.

  • Scorpi (voiced by Maria Bamford) – Scorpi is a bug-eyed Spikel whose tail is pointy. When combined with Torts he gives Torts the ability to walk on all fours. When combined with Glurt he makes a Murp, belonging to the episode "Murp Romp". As the leader of the Spikels, Scorpi loves pillow fights, sleepovers and chatting all night long. He is the mascot of Series 3. His name comes from the word "scorpion", which he resembles.
  • Footi (voiced by Bumper Robinson) – Footi is a livewire Spikel who loves to skip, jump and dance. He is characterised as feminine due to his voice. When combined with Wizwuz he makes a Murp. With Scorpi's cuteness he thinks that Scorpi is super-cute and super- skittish. He slightly resembles a goat.
  • Hoogi (voiced by Maddie Taylor) – Hoogi is an affectionate Spikel with lanky arms. He walks as slow as a zombie. He gives big hugs with his arms, revealing that Nixels will avoid his hugs. Sometimes he says "nuzzle-wuzzle", which is one of his favourite words. He resembles an ape.

Wiztastics

Based on magic, the Wiztastics are a travelling troupe of magicians and the secondary tribe of Series 3. They live in the Magic Tent, where they put on shows. When all three combine they become a quadrupedal, bird-esque creature with an ever-magic tail. Their cubits are purple, and their leader is Magnifo.

  • Magnifo (voiced by Brian Stepanek) – Magnifo is a super-confident Wiztastic with two magic wands. He serves as the magician of the Mixels. The Mixels think that his magic tricks are cheesy, but some love his shows (particularly Vulk, who thinks that his shows are amazing); this is because he considers himself spectacular.
  • Mesmo (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) – Mesmo is a loyal Wiztastic who lacks showmanship. When combined with Glomp, he can magically shoot slime from his mouth. He is the only Mixel in Mixels Mania who does not make Murps. His ability to drop spells from his tail is often attempted. Mesmo resembles a bird, particularly an owl or crow, in 2014 and 2015 when seen, along with other years. He shares his name with the Ninjago character Mezmo (a Hypnobrai Serpentine), with the exception that it has a "z" instead of an "s".
  • Wizwuz (voiced by Bumper Robinson) – Wizwuz is a goofy Wiztastic who loves to perform, whether burping spells or hanging. His improvised antics are half as fun as messing up the show. He resembles a spider or beetle.

Series 4

Orbitons

Based on space, the Orbitons are the secondary tribe of Series 4. They live in Orbitopia on the Mixel Moon. When all three combine they become a bipedal, astronaut-esque creature with laser eyes. Their cubits are light green, and their leader is Niksput.

  • Niksput (voiced by Andrew Kishino) – Niksput is the brave leader of the Orbitons who has the charm of a leading man, but a useless brain. He has a high-speed flight, but can crash due to his lack of skill. He is bad at playing Basketboarding. When combined with Burnard he gives Burnard the ability to do things that he can't do. His name is a spoonerism of "Sputnik", the Russian word for "rocket".
  • Nurp-Naut (voiced by Justin Grollman for Nurp and Rodger Bumpass for Naut) – Nurp-Naut is a two-faced Orbiton who is both a baby (Nurp) and elder (Naut), with a split personality. When his personality changes his head spins rapidly. When combined with Meltus he gets stolen things from the Nixels. When combined with Boogly he makes a Murp. His preliminary artwork showed his larger eye. He resembles an astronaut; he has a jetpack and helmet.
  • Rokit (voiced by Phil Hayes) – Rokit is an unhinged Orbiton who does everything as if his life depends on it. He is often frustrated about the others lacking discipline. He originally had pink in his early years.

Infernite Cousins

Based on fire, the Infernite Cousins are the primary tribe of Series 4. They are like the Infernites, still living in the Magma Wastelands. When all three combine they become a bipedal, cycloptic creature with fire breath. Their cubits are still red, and their leader is still Flain; however, Flamzer is often mistaken as their leader.

  • Flamzer (voiced by Rodger Bumpass) – Flamzer is an alarmist Infernite with a fiery tail. He is also a scaredy cat. He serves as the narrator of every "campcube" story and resembles a shrimp.
  • Burnard (voiced by Jess Harnell) – Burnard is a giggling Infernite whose flames make him laugh; the way to make him stop laughing is to tell him a joke. When combined with Niksput he can do things that Niksput can't do. He belches flames in the process of giggling. In his original static image he had no tongue and red legs. He appears to be based on a chameleon; he has peripheral vision in defined eye sockets and horned extensions on his head.
  • Meltus (voiced by Jess Harnell) – Meltus is a shy Infernite who is allergic. He can melt ice with his allergies. When he is outside he seems to unknowingly sneeze fire because his allergies are often found outside. He was originally intended to have ring pupils and a flaming tail tip without the orange spike on his back, with the head spikes also being less prominent. He resembles a dinosaur.

Glowkies

Based on bioluminescence, the Glowkies are the tertiary tribe of Series 4. They live in caves known as "Glowkie Caves" on the Mixel Moon. When all three combine they become a bipedal, bat-esque creature that can fly the most by flapping its wings. Their cubits are black, and their leader is Globert.

  • Globert (voiced by Dave Fennoy) – Globert is a luminous Glowkie who loves performing. He was originally intended to have black wings and resembles a bat. He has a slight British accent.
  • Boogly (voiced by Dave Fennoy) – Boogly is a snobbish Glowkie, whose complaining is annoying to the Mixels. When combined with Nurp-Naut he makes a Murp. He probably resembles a mole cricket due to his appearance. He has an Austrian accent.
  • Vampos (voiced by Sam Riegel) – Vampos is a chilled-out Glowkie who loves sports and resembles a bat.

Series 5

Klinkers

Based on Steampunk ages, the Klinkers are the secondary tribe of Series 5. They live in Klinkerton. When all three combine they become a giant humanoid robot that can fix everything. Their cubits are dark grey, and their leader is Gox.

  • Gox (voiced by Chris Cox) − Gox is a tycoon-esque Mixel from the Steam Age. He has a British accent.
  • Jinky (voiced by Jeff Bennett) − Jinky is an old heavy metal star in the form of a walking boiler room. He has a Liverpudlian accent.
  • Kamzo (voiced by Steve Blum) − Kamzo is a moody dumpster-dweller who is only happy on a mechanical mission. He is the only Klinker without a British accent.

Frosticon Cousins

Based on ice, the Frosticon Cousins are the primary tribe of Series 5. They are like the Frosticons, still living in the Frozen Volcanoes. When all 3 combine, they become a giant humanoid yeti with frozen breath. Their cubits are still blue, and their leader is still Flurr; however, Krog is often mistaken as their leader. He speaks with a Russian accent.

  • Krog (voiced by Dave Fennoy) − Krog is a living garbage disposal who can chomp into anything. His name is a portmanteau of the words "cryo-", which with Krog is spelt with a "k" instead of a "c", and "frog". His name was originally thought to be "Krug",and he resembles a yeti or frog.
  • Snoof (voiced by Daran Norris) − Snoof is a bright-eyed bumpkin who has a naive fascination, with his world being around him. When combined with Tungster he can lick anything. He has a thick Dixie accent.
  • Chilbo (voiced by Griffin Burns) − Chilbo is a know-it-all who is always ready to explain obvious things in relentless detail, but only has a few speaking roles in the show. He resembles a sloth; however, he also resembles a tiger (except he has no stripes and is blue).

Lixers

Based on tongues, the Lixers are the tertiary tribe of Series 5. They live in a swamp. When all three combine they become a quadrupedal, dog-esque creature that can eat anything. Their cubits are yellow, and they don't have a leader; however, Spugg is often mistaken as theirs.

  • Spugg (voiced by Daran Norris) − Super-curious and alert, he has a rotating head that keeps an eye on everything around him. He resembles a puppy.
  • Turg (voiced by Peter Jason) − Turg looks like an experiment gone wrong; he is part frog, part chicken and part unknown. He has an extra-long tongue which is as long as Jawg's.
  • Tungster (voiced by Tom Kenny) − Tungster is an eagle-esque Mixel with a long tongue. He licks Nixels with his tongue and soars majestically into the air. The problem about him is that he looks and sounds weird. His wings resemble valkyries' wings.

Series 6

Munchos

Based on food, the Munchos are the secondary tribe of Series 6. They live in Muncholand. When all three combine they become a giant humanoid food monster that can do things with food. Their cubits are purple. Their leader is Vaka-Waka (Vaka tends to be their leader more often).

  • Vaka-Waka (voiced by Jess Harnell for Vaka and Daran Norris for Waka) − Vaka-Waka is two Mixels in one—Vaka on the top and Waka on the bottom. Vaka has a thick and slightly effeminate German accent, while Waka has a thick British accent. They are one of the Munchos who are doubled, as a character called Twinsy-Twinzy has two heads.
  • Snax (voiced by Griffin Burns) − Snax is known to have a serious appetite, and he makes crumbs fly everywhere. His head makes him resemble a chipmunk. He has toes in his Lego form. When combined with Dribbal he makes a Murp.
  • Berp (voiced by Tom Kenny) − Berp is a waiter who juggles a lot. He resembles one of the prototype monsters seen in the documentary The Wonderful World of Mixels (except the monster had a different lower jaw, stouter and shorter body, arms similar to Chomly's and a brown colour scheme); it is likely that he was based on the monster.

Glorp Corp Cousins

Based on slime, the Glorp Corp Cousins are the primary tribe of Series 6. They are like the Glorp Corp, still living in the Swamplands. When all three combine they become a bipedal, dragonfly-esque creature with magnifying glasses and the ability to shoot slime from his mouth. Their cubits are still green, and their leader is still Glomp; however, Dribbal is often mistaken as their leader.

  • Dribbal (voiced by Jeff Bennett) − Dribbal is a know-it-all who has no lucky opinions than Glomp, who actually does have them. He resembles a capybara.
  • Gurggle (voiced by Jeff Bennett) − Gurggle is an impatient Glorp Corp member who is a fast-talking hothead and is as nimble as a grasshopper.
  • Slusho (voiced by Griffin Burns) − Like a hippo in a hummingbird's body, Slusho flies to wait up for the rest of the Glorp Corp. He resembles a dragonfly.

Weldos

Based on construction, the Weldos are the tertiary tribe of Series 6. They live in a construction site. When all three combine they become a cartoon-style construction worker that can get rid of things. Their cubits are yellow and black, and their leader is Kramm.

  • Kramm (voiced by Dave Fennoy) − Kramm is the leader of the Weldos with a typical New York accent.
  • Forx (voiced by Chris Cox) − Forx is the tertiary member of the Weldos. He was coloured different in his preliminary artwork. When combined with Vaka-Waka he is bigger.
  • Wuzzo (voiced by Peter Jason) − Wuzzo is the secondary member of the Weldos. His Lego form has teeth in his upper jaw; however, his cartoon form does not have teeth in his upper jaw. He is the only Series 6 Mixel who doesn't appear on the LEGO Club Magazine page Trick or Treat!

Series 7

Mixopolis City Police Department

Based on police, the Mixopolis City Police Department (shortened as MCPD) are the primary tribe of Series 7.

  • Kuffs (voiced by Phil Hayes, later by Steve Blum) − Kuffs was seen being designed on the computer in the documentary series The Wonderful World of Mixels in December 2015.
  • Busto (voiced by Chris Cox) − Busto is a happy MCPD tribe member who has a jail cell, which he resembles.
  • Tiketz (voiced by Daran Norris) − His name resembles the word "tickets"; similarly, he has two different names, as in Spanish he is named Multaz (resembling the word "multas", meaning "tickets"). Resembles a police motorcycle.

Medivals

Based on medieval ages, the Medivals are the secondary tribe of Series 7.

  • Camillot (voiced by Jeff Bennett) − Camillot can't make decisions in Every Knight Has Its Day, and he also says that he can't do this about it.
  • Mixadel (voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz) − His name is a portmanteau of the words "mix/Mixel" and "citadel". Resembles a catapult.
  • Paladum (voiced by Eric Bauza) − Camillot likes him, because he calls him an old pal. Resembles a pegasus.

Mixies

Based on music, the Mixies are the tertiary tribe of Series 7.

  • Jamzy (voiced by Cree Summer) − Jamzy is a musician. His name is misspelled as "Jamsy" by Max during the end of Mixopolis Music Mix-Up! He is the only Mixie who can talk, and is also the only Mixel with a female voice actor (with the exceptions of Glomp and Hoogi).
  • Tapsy − By tapping his drumsticks, Tapsy pretends to beat out a rhythm for the rest of The Mixies band.

Newzers

Based on breaking news, the Newzers are the tertiary tribe of Series 9.

Other characters

Nixels

Nixels (all voiced by Fred Tatasciore) are creatures who are enemies of the Mixels and like to destroy any combinations that the Mixels create; this is because they consider themselves far superior to the Mixels, but they are only able to say quite a few words, such as "Nixels", "nix", "Mixels" and "mix". Their white faces can pop out of their bodies and walk around without arms.

  • Major Nixel (voiced by Fred Tatasciore, later by Rodger Bumpass, later by Peter Jason) − Major Nixel is the Nixels' military leader. He is capable of speech and is abusive towards his underlings. He resembles a war general with a moustache, and is also the only Nixel without being in a Lego set.
  • King Nixel (voiced by Phil Hayes, later by Steve Blum) − King Nixel is the Nixels' leader. He is capable of speech. His true form is like a regular Nixel. He created the I-Cubit.

Mixamals

Mixamals are creatures mainly found at Mixopolis Zoo.

Mixels

In addition to the original Mixels, there are other Mixels who don't have Lego sets. These include:
