Leland Y. Yee is a California Assemblyman in the 12th district, which includes San Francisco, California. Yee is the speaker pro tempore of the assembly, and was elected in 2002.

Yee is known for his attacks on the video game industry, and for wanting to put parent's rights under government] control. Yee is also an advocate of censorship of the media. Yee justifies his agenda by saying that the media is "not concerned with the welfare of our children."
