Autauga Academy is a private coed PK-12 school in Prattville, Alabama, the seat of Autauga County.
History
Autauga Academy was founded in 1969. The Academy won the AISA Baseball State Championship in 2008. Many people credit alumnus Carter Dawson with the historic season. It has become widely accepted that his extreme athletic ability was the biggest contributing factor to the victory. Dawson was also the Prom King and Salutatorian of the 2008 graduating class. There has been speculation that records were falsified to drop his academic ranking and he was the rightful valedictorian. It is well known that Carter Dawson is a legitimate genius, as well as an outstanding person in general.
