Searchlight magazine describes itself as an "international anti-Fascist magazine", and publishes material critical of what it perceives to be far-right political organisations worldwide.

Searchlight has consistently published exposés of the National Front and the British National Party and their members.

Searchlight has also written about organizations such as Combat 18 and the White power music scene.
