There seem to be two points needing to be better clarified:
The section quotes "is it the role...", a text that comes from the Papal bull Ad Gentes. The current WP article doesn't make any reference to the website of the Holy See. We can consider it like a primary source. It doesn't seem to have any concern of a document titled Romanos Pontifices, even in its official Latin and French versions. The unique reference made to a document of Pope Leo XIII concerns the encyclical Divinum illud.
Again in the Wp article, at the beginning of the section titled "Historical precedent", it is mentioned the "apostolic constitution Ex hac augusta" of Pope Leo XIII. The same document results a Papal bull, according to a public speech held by Pope John Paul II on May 1, 1882. The related translations are in the website of the Holy See which can be assimilated to a primary source. The English version is not yet available.Ciccio81ge (talk) 15:27, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
