  - The Russian Defence Ministry says its forces have destroyed two U.S.-made M142 HIMARS rocket systems and their ammunition depots in Eastern Ukraine after launching airstrikes. Ukraine rejects the claim. (Reuters)

2022 Marmolada serac collapse

  - The New Zealand Defence Force says that, upon request by the government of Niue, it is sending a team of civilian doctors, nurses, and defense personnel as an outbreak of COVID-19 hits the territory. (Reuters)
