Raegan Revord is an American child actress. She is best known for her role as Missy Cooper in the television series Young Sheldon and as the younger version of Joey King's character in the supernatural horror film Wish Upon.

Career

She started acting at age six. Her debut on screen was in the short film Tortoise, featuring David Arquette. Before her acting debut, Reagan had appeared in various print commercials, started modeling by the age of four, and later appeared in television commercials. In 2014 she appeared Modern Family as "Megan" in the sixth season episode "Won't You Be Our Neighbor". In 2016, she reprised that character (as a non-speaking role) in the seventh season episode "The Storm".

She appeared on the Netflix series Grace and Frankie and as Bob Odenkirk’s daughter on With Bob & David. She had a recurring role on TV Land's series Teachers.

Raegan was booked for numerous commercials, including one with Joel McHale for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

In March 2017, Revord was cast as Missy Cooper, Sheldon's twin sister in The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon. Her character has been described as adding a "much-needed spunk to the plot but also serves as the perfect foil to her academically-gifted twin brother, Sheldon." Revord picked up her Texan accent by coaching lessons from her mom and dad, who were from Mississippi and Tennessee.

In film, she played the young version of the protagonist Clare Shannon in the 2017 American supernatural horror film Wish Upon. Also in 2017 she portrayed Amy in the short movie I See You directed by Manjari Makijany. In 2019 she played "Ainsley" in episode 3 of Netflix original drama Alexa & Katie. She did voice work for the WBUR Circle Round radio play Nilsa and the Troll.

Personal life

Revord's family moved to Los Angeles when she was three and a half years old. She is an only child. In her free time, she's engaged in charity as ambassador for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. As of 2019, her parents managed her social accounts.
