Space Music
This sub-genre of electronic rock doesn't see that much action, but fans of space music usually can't get enough of it. Space music is hard to describe. It tends to be repetitive and lengthy, built in gradually multiplying layers, very electronic yet not entirely 'thick' or inorganic. Once you hear a few examples, you'll figure it out. Klaus Schulze, who was briefly in Tangerine Dream before they were using synthesizers, is the most famous space musician. His albums "X", Timewind, and Mirage are good starting points for the uninitiated, as well as the absolutely amazing _Sonic Seasonings_ by Walter Carlos. More accessible to ambient house fans is the rare and recently-bootlegged album called Space, a pseudonym for Jimi Cauty of the KLF.
Argument over.JAF1970 18:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
That link you provides is obviously a good example of an hacker in action. None in Europe takes that stuff seriously. I asked you reputable offline sources, such as an Oxford Dictionary, just to begin with. Yes argument over.Dr. Who 00:04, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
This is a polite reminder.
You are currently being abusive and hostile. I request you stop the namecalling and vandalism. JAF1970 00:21, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- huh, vandalism?--Dr. Who 11:58, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject Rock music invitation
Hello WikiProject Alternative music member.
WikiProject Alternative music, in my eyes, has proved to be successful "improving the encyclopaedic coverage of articles relating to alternative rock", and improving their quality as well. One specific example I have witnessed is The Smashing Pumpkins article. The page has gone from a mediocre work, to GA status, to FA nomination. Only appropriate, as the Pumpkins are undeniably one of the most influential alternative rock bands on the 1990's and beyond.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently ressurected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and not only be a member of alternative Wikipedians, but the rockin' ones as well.
Rock on.

Thank you for making a report at Misplaced Pages:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Misplaced Pages and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report them. Thank you.⇒ SWATJester 04:31, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
interactions with Gardener of Geda
Doktor Who, I noticed that you posted to Gardener of Geda's talk page pointing out a personal attack posted on eir user page. It seems that right now Gardener of Geda is likely to interpret such actions as stalking, regardless of whether that is your intention. I recommend that for the moment you back off from interactions with Gardener of Geda. If this requires the temporary removal of some pages from your watchlist, so be it; the pages will still be there when you get back. Michael Slone (talk) 08:46, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Romeo and Juliet semi protection
Just dropping {{sprotect}} on a page won't protect it. That has to be done by an admin, and requested at Misplaced Pages:Requests for page protection. I put in a request on this page for you. *Mishatx*-In\Out 04:33, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Talk:Music for Airports
* "Mistaken Memories of Mediaeval Manhattan" =→ On Land.
help :( --Doktor Who 23:43, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Am I correct in thinking that you are claiming that Mistaken Memories... uses music from On Land instead of from Music for Airports? I don't consider your first removal of the item to be vandalism, although you should always use an edit summary, especially when removing text. Instead of reverting a second time, I would recommend discussing the issue on the talk page. I see that you posted something about this on the talk page, but it took me a few minutes to understand what you wrote there.
- I don't have access to Mistaken Memories..., but the Rykodisc site states that the video uses music from both albums. If so, then it is not inappropriate to have the item on Music for Airports, although it might be better to have a shorter mention on both pages and maybe a stub article for Mistaken Memories... itself indicating that it uses music from both.
