Garhi Habibullah Khan is a historical town and union council (an administrative subdivision) of tehsil Balakot and Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan towards the Kashmir frontier of Capital Muzzafarbad. It was affected by the . It is named after (Ex-Chief Of Swati) Habibullah Khan. According to Hazara Gazetteer in 1876 under the division of Mansehra District among victorious group of Swatis and Syeds , Garhi Habibullah was divided into 4 Swatis clans and 1 Swati-Adopted clan of Pakhal named Hundi Ameen Khan(Jehangiris) ,Hundi Habib Khan (Jehangiris) ,Hundi Hassan Ali Khan( Arghoshals) , Hundi Berham khan (Sarkhelis) and Hundi Sumandar Khan(Khankhails)It is area affected by 2005 Earthquake .Hindko is spoken in this town Overview - United Nations Joint Logistics Centre Archived September 13, 2012, at archive.today
