Garhi Habibullah Khan is a historical town and union council (an administrative subdivision) of tehsil Balakot and Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan towards the Kashmir frontier of Capital Muzzafarbad. It was affected by the . It is named after ex nomial chief of Pakhli Habibullah Khan. According to Hazara Gazetteer in 1876 under the division of Mansehra District among the victorious group of Swatis and Syed Jalal Baba , the Garhi Habibullah was divided into 4 Swatis clans of Pakhal named Hundi Ameen Khan(Jehangiris) ,Hundi Habib Khan (Jehangiris) ,Hundi Hassan Ali Khan( Arghoshals) , Hundi Berham khan (Sarkhelis) and 1 adopted-swati clan named Hundi Sumandar Khan(Khankhails)It is area affected by 2005 Earthquake .Hindko is spoken in this town Overview - United Nations Joint Logistics Centre Archived September 13, 2012, at archive.today
